Racing a Lamborghini Huracan at DriveXotic back in 2019 with Track Video

In the summer of 2019, I was given the gift of racing an exotic supercar on a 1.3 mile road course in Cresson, Texas (south of Fort Worth) through DriveXotic, who by the way is still racing out there even in these COVID times, so check them out at drivexotic.com/

For this experience I took out the red Lamborghini Huracan rear wheel drive. It was my first time ever on a road coarse and at the time, hands down the fastest car I've ever driven, by a LOT. It was such a blast that I still think about it all the time and plan on doing it again within the next year. I hope you enjoy the video and please like, comment, and subscribe!

Great video as always man! Yeah it is very hard to get used to the car and follow their instructions. You naturally want to reduce your speed before they tell you and as soon as you get used to it... It's over. I did the same thing this past summer in a c8 corvette. Only 3 laps though unfortunately

Thanks! Yeah, I'm definitely going to do it again and hope to get past that earlier in the laps. My father-in-law and I are extremely competitive and he just beat out my lap time that day so we need a rematch. Next time I'm going to have to drive the GT3 though to make it even since he's a Porsche guy.

@@Scavenger1320 haha yeah you'll have to beat him next time. Maybe the Porsche is better around the track than the lambo 🤷‍♂️

@@SchwayZ yeah, the instructors said the Porsche is setup better for the track with better handling. Power only gets you so far. There were a couple times the back end slid out on me in the Lambo. Surprisingly they said the Mercedes AMG they had was the fastest around that course.

@@Scavenger1320 oh wow that would be scary! Like you said, I could never sit in the passenger seat and have a stranger drive me around 🤣 Interesting I didn't expect that but I guess those are kinda built to compete with Porsches so it makes sense

I did the racing experience at TMS. Much different than what you would think. You always watch it and think it would be easy. Not so much. And those pro drivers. He was pushing my knee when he wanted me to go wide open in the middle of the turns. Those guys are crazy. LOL

I want to do that experience one day too. Both behind the wheel and as a passenger. I've heard it's pretty cool...and scary...being the passenger with a pro driver and coming within inches of the wall going well over 100 mph.

@@Scavenger1320 It was a lot of fun. But, I want a redo. You think you know what you are getting into because you have watched NASCAR for years. But, it is not what I expected. It threw me off and I would like a redo. I could go quite a bit faster given another opportunity.

Nice mane! I have actually been there to! It is a cool experience. Everything you explained was accurate they push you to go faster! My instructor was a jong kid. But very experienced. Definitely gonna do it again!
