So i finally dug my xbox one s out of the back of my tv stand. I have GTA5 but i need to buy the online access. Its been like 6 years since i played the game. Am i able to join you guys once i get online? Also do i need a mic for the regular races? Also is survive the hunt on PC or xbox?

You can join the Sunday stream races usually if you ask, obviously you won't need a mic as you won't be in any chat situation. Survive The Hunt is done by the recording team and therefore would be private.

We race on Sundays on the Enhanced version of the game, which is Series S/X exclusive. And as said, the StH and other filming is private (and on PC)

@crashwelder5337 two things. 1) random racing is a core staple of failrace content. theyve been doing it forever. its called transform races. this new modded version theyve been doing in videos is just a different take on the concept. random racing is probably a good 50% of failrace gta content. its not going anywhere. 2) me. i want to see a lawnmower vs supercar. and so do a whole lot of others, apparently. otherwise it wouldnt be so popular. bonus third thing: stop saying "fad", you sound like a middle school headmaster from the 1980s.

Yeah, I'm forwarding through all the random races now and just watching the normal ones for close racing. I'm struggling to see the appeal personally. Very frustrating to watch as a spectator, since there's nothing riding on anything. It's just a bunch of people randomly driving round in circles driving their own races.
