True you need new pads but that's only part of the problem. Raise the car after racing like that and I'll bet you can barely turn the tires. The video said the brakes lockuped and caused the spin. Also said the brake pedal was on the floor and had cherry red rotors. All aluminum calipers suffer from a "snow ball effect". They get hot and start to flex, you let off the brake pedal and the calipers try to return to their original shape causing more drag. Next corner you hit the brakes and create more heat and deflection. The cycle continues and the brakes get worse. The deflection also causes the pedal to get lower and lower. I would even guess that the pads are tapered top to bottom after the race. I have seen new pads be metal to metal at the top and look nearly new at the bottom. That's caused by calipers flexing open from the heat. I know the solution, just let me know (this ain't no sales deal, only my experience.) Glad you let me respond. Hope to hear from you again.

Self satisfaction every time you passed the #22. Especially when you passed him on the last corner of the last lap. That’s the way to hang in there when the car isn’t exactly right and get the most out of it. I wish I was rich instead of so good looking. I would have you in a Craftsman Truck or an Xfinity Car. Your day is coming my friend. Keep working hard.

I really like the sound of these engines, they sound so crisp & bad ass sounding! 🏁 All the best Landon Huffman 👍 + since i’m Canadian i gotta cheer for #77 Treyton Lapcevich who has a win in the “CARS Tour” + many solid finishes 🤙

All aluminum calipers can not take the heat of short track racing. They heat up when you and start spreading apart. When you let off the brakes, the caliper tries to its original shape a cause drag (glowing rotors and probably cost you 20 to 30 hp.) There are better calipers that are not all aluminum and hold up to short track abuse. I really enjoy you taking us along for the ride. I put dents in my floor trying to push the gas pedal down. Good job.
@gonagitcha33803 ай бұрын
Aluminum calibers need to have a fresh pad set at short tracks keeps just enough drag to keep temp in them. One thing that I learned racing at bgs

When the video started of the race the right front was glowing red. I thought to my self brakes aren't going to last. You boiled the fluid. So it all needs changed in the system.
