Seems to be a theme, each update comes out and the masses come back, as they disappear the regular crowd continues to race cleanly. Just hoping improvements to penalty system, matchmaking, and a better radar will make driving standards more consistent going forward

I will agree. I have had several races lately where I wasn't punted to the back, and had good results for me. Dare I say that people have become almost civil.

What Forza needs are lobbies for longer races.... I wouldn't mind races that would take 30-60 minutes

I do feel for you bud, was it touring cars or other races? Seems open class and GT racing is a little manic at the moment. I have a friend who plays GT7 and it does suffer from the same issues as GT7 (going by what I saw and they say of course) BUT, the penalty system does seem better as well as ghosting is far more proactive than in forza. Which I have said before needs massively sorting out. The Ghosting is crap on Forza

I did 3 races yesterday. All in open class c and got crashed multiple times on 2 of them. And the other I just started p1 and walked away. All in “s” safety rating. But that’s a pretty average night I would say. I do probably 20-30 races a week depending on how much time I got or how much many dirty races I get stuck in. But 1/2-2/3s my races every time I get in are mostly just being crashed. I end up leaving more races than I finish because of it. Sometimes it’s honestly the most frustrating game I’ve ever played. But in do enjoy the games in between those moments. I’d really like to see some races where everyone has full damage or a hardcore mode. But they have to figure something out. I feel like they don’t wanna ban anybody or deal with the behavior because they’re afraid they can’t handle losing more players, but at the same time the ramming is ruining the experience causing people to leave.

I hear the open class is pretty much a death sentence though lol. I mean touring cars is pretty calm, even GT racing is said to be pretty animalistic lol. Yeah I totally get you. Some cases I have almost lost my mind, and then I get a gem of a race and it makes up for the bad ones to an extent. Damage has been asked for before and it would deter some of the rammers. But then it would possibly punish the innocent to. The penalty system does suck at the moment but they are working on it. I do hope they actually improve it rather than make it worse lol. But with the reputation they have at the moment my cards are split lol. Nah forza support is useless to be honest, I really cannot say anything positive about it. It seems to be a system there to tick a box rather than actually be used or investigated. The ghosting system sucks too, it really needs to ghost earlier and for longer rather than 30 minutes to late and un ghost while the car is turning around in the middle of the track. It is causing people to leave but with every update loads return to so people do have hope but are clearly not being satisfied.

I tend to agree about the tyre wear the hards should last the full race, either that or make the races a little longer to make it a one stop on hards and a two stop on mediums, at the moment find it hard to justify using the hard tyre as it only last an extra lap.

Yeah exactly buddy. I mean the time loss also does not justify one or two extra laps. I have tested it a few times and really is not worth it. Never mind being up front you really need to grip to pull away. I would never have been in pole if I was on hards.

Yeah that little bit of sand on the outer kerb is so dodgy, the amount of times I just brushed it and I’m either fully out of control or I’m wrestling a toddler for the tv remote is unreal. Best to just avoid as much as possible. But if you do hit it. Arrow straight seems to be the best rather than try and pull yourself back onto the track.

Great video flash. I did a Yas Marina tonight. 1st time in 3 weeks but ETR rich was in it. Not seen Rich or Triad for a few weeks. Anyway. Qualified 8th. Started in 8th on Hards. Did last 5 laps on mediums. Finished 5th but 4th place had a 1.7 penalty. I had a. 5 second penalty and finished less than a second behind him. So I was expecting to move up to 4th. But no. 4th place finished 17 seconds in front of me. I was totally confused.

Thanks buddy. :) ETR rich is lovely. Amazing driver and has great etiquette. I haven’t seen triad (I should message them) but I seen rich a few times. Beat him a few videos ago (just want to show off again lol). Man why did you go hard to mids??? Like mid and mid should have been fine. Wow that is quite the time difference. Like I say the times seem so off at the moment in the game. Like I said in the video it’s not right. ETR rich usually is on the 1st spot so they must have been some really quick drivers to be fair.

@@Flashms Yes Rich won. To be honest they did not last as long as I thought they would. A race I had yesterday someone had hards on and did not pit so I thought I'd take a chance. I was quick on Hards. Had a 4 second gap to those behind me. When the leaders pitted I was leading by about 12 seconds at 1 point. I then got the minor warning so pitted without hitting the barrier this time. Great races you had there flash. I can't get anywhere close to 1.53. That's an awesome lap time.

Yeah that person is just an alien, they are so quick lol, yeah it really does depend on the car, I know the levorg is amazing with tire wear, just lacking a few horses to keep up with everyone. I would of said go on to softs but really its such a tough call to make because by the last lap the softs may well have gone past their sell by date. Great lead though man, and least you made it into the pits lol, I bet the crew was nervous watching you come in lmao. Like the pit crew coming out covered in bubble wrap in case you drive into one lmfao. Thanks bud, i think my fastest was a 1.52.857 I am sure I have done better, just wish we had a leader board. To be fair, I learned a lot about that track from ACC, I really enjoy that track.

yeah I get you man, sometimes isnt worth the risk for half a second or second a lap gain. This is the problem, the tires are so close in time yet so far in performance and longevity. The more I raced with hard tires the more I realised their really is no point in them. I worked out I was around half to a second slower a lap, for what 1,2 lap gain and I had to pit anyway, then go to soft to make up 3 seconds when I lost 5 already, was no point.

That’s so funny. Oooo man I heard a lot of people say it’s a little dicey lol. I mean tc series is getting better but of course your starting position really does dictate your luck. If I cannot get pole in practice, I refuse to qualify and would rather work my way up the pack than be slammed around. What is your go to gt car ??? I have tried the gt40 and corvette. Gt seems slow and corvette is a little twitchy for me anyway.

I did Kyalami race in the focus & did Medium/Soft I managed to get 5 laps out of the mediums.

Pretty much what I achieved on mediums. Hard to qualify on softs to be honest as by lap 3 they hit moderate wear which to me is.a little stupid considering your meant to qualify and the tires do not last a full stint lol.

This is great thinking. It also provides some sense of long term reward for the time investment. I actually enjoy FM driving, but agree with one of the main criticisms, that there's no real incentive for longevity. It's just race by race validation. Being able to read my and my opponents stats would go a long way in creating a hierarchy and something to aim for.

Exactly, we need to see where we stack up in the world, and one day, replays maybe fixed and we could further learn from the faster drivers. Its exactly that at the moment, race, win or lose, move on and nothing gained or lose, besides a little pride lol, but like you say it is something again to aim for. Seems a little empty at the moment, and drip feeding content as it is, just is not fully satisfying. To be fair, I have no idea why a leader board is not implemented, like talk about oversite lol.

Nah bud he ended up in P5 overall but had quite the penalty too. 1.7 seconds p6 was another few seconds behind that so there was quite the gap from p5 to p6 But I have seen it a few times where people quite just because they have been overtaken. I had in a previous video a person quit because (same track funnily enough) I had such a time advantage there was no competition lol.

HAHAHA a lot of people say that, I have to be honest I was recording all day and no race was an issue, again, I raced today and it had been fine for me, Forza gods like me this week I guess lmao. I have had some odd races though, like the one minute it was a full lobby the next race had 3-4 cars so no idea whats going on there. Sorry to hear you got destroyed though, such a pain when that happens never mind the frustration you get, when you try and everyone around you turns into horde mentality and want to munch you lol

Also Ghosting needs sorting out buddy, it reacts far to late and no where near long enough, I mean it cannot be hard for the devs to set up a system that if someone is going to hit you at more than 20 mph the speed you are going to just auto ghost you if you understand what i mean
