RACING MODE on the Commander GT are INSANE! First Impressions | 50S Cells Degrading?!

Thanks for the great hands on of all these new wheels. The 50s is a premium cell (costs more) with a 25a discharge rate compared to the 50E at 9.8a. I'm not an expert but I would bet that if a 50S pack was used the same as the limit of a 50E pack, around 10amp draw per cell (if a person had that much self discipline) their cycle life span would be much closer. The advantage of the 50S would be that extra headroom if (and when) you needed it, and were willing to take the hit in lifespan. Like nitrous oxide injection for track day.

Can I recommend raising the rear pads so they engage sooner, and higher on your calf? In this configuration, your calf should touch the rear pad as soon as you go into any sort of braking position. It really helps me with aggressive braking and attenuating wobbles right away. More points of contact upon braking, more leverage, more control, less effort, and fewer wobbles.

tight suspension can definetly contribute to wobbles. Coming from the motorbike life, speed wobbles were normally a sign of bad front wheel bearings or a fucked fork seal.

Commander GT (not Pro) will get C40 motor, 50s 🔋, ex30 motherboard. I wish it get smart BMS.

Try pushing pads and foot position back a inch. If feet to far forward then wheel may wobble under breaking, as per my experience with my other wheels. Test by breaking hard in straight line with no carving. Try put feet postion more forward and wobble may get worse, test to see.

I have the CP and get crazy wobbles on hard braking at fast speeds. I also feel like my feet are a bit too far forward. I am going to try this. Thank you. 👍🏾

Yeah on my ex 30 I use to get wild death wobbles while breaking hard but after a few firmware changes it was gone so idk it might be a similar issue

Have you any proof about 50s degrading? Or is it just bla, bla... Are the batteries balanced? Is you charger outputing correct voltage? Maybe something is wrong with power distribution board like it was with other weels...

No proof, only impressions as I didn't do an initial range test. It feels slightly degraded, but no proof. I don't recommend these cells for non-racers, there is no need for them.

Do you thing with upper pads at the back you could solvente woobles ishu? Sonething similar hapend to me in a V12 hs after riding more than 10000km in my v12 HT but Just ading upper pads like the leather pads for the v12 the wooble problem was solved

With this wheel its a combination of things: pads definitely contributed, high tire pressure = less traction, stiff suspension, and the balance of the wheel

Definetely still loving it, wish it came with velcro for the fairings, and riding it next to my 62 lb patton it feels much much stiffer, but it never bottoms out, For my trail stuff and urban jumping stair stuff, it works really well. I didn't do a proper range test when I first got the wheel. So I can't say with confidence, but the range seems worse than when I first had it.

Just saying the words, wobble crash makes my sphincter flex.😂 I had two real bad wobble crashes last year and broke my shoulder on one of them. I hate speed wobbles. I’ll stick with my Sherman S thanks . 🤘😜🤘

What are the specs on this wheel and why havent i heard of this but only the future commander gt pro, when did this come out as it looks like a mini with 20 inch wheel ? As much a begode motor fan as I am ... I am going to try a Leaperkim wheel as I have bought 5 begode wheels in the past & 1 KS s22... The lynx looks like it will be an excellent wheel and I really heard nothing but great things about their build quality as something that I cant say for begode & to a lesser extent EB... P.S. I just remembered a serious question, What is wrong with 50 S and should I get them ot the 50e? this is the first time I heard of degreading and how long will they last before I notice any degradation... thanks

Hey Revolutionaries🤙 the 50s are niche cells good for racing, but the longevity is less than the 50e. Even as a 'racer' I don't think I'll get them on my next wheel. The GT is a minibull with 50s cells and a bigger tire as you stated. Its a fun wheel and not priced to high.
