Good info to note ... given birds on the outlook ... they look healthy on the outside ... droppings looks good ... they are given my race supplements starting on race week ... products include : Sat - ecol tonic with citromed, recovery cap, vita pro combo - Sun - ETC, Ultracom 10 in 1, brewer yeast - Mon - ETC, UL 10 in 1, VPC - Tue - pro bac, brewers yeast - Wed - acidified plus, PB, VPC - Thu - stamox, muscle power, brewers yeast - Fri - STM, MP, VPC and Versa-laga mix feed combo from Sat - Fri ....

Hy Danny I have a question for you behind my loft I have a massive field is just with gras , now for a couple of weeks I leave my birds out and the older ones they keep on going on that bloody field ! It is a stupid habit and I don't know what to do with them , I don't want the young birds to develop the same habit ! Any advice please ?

Molting question ... say your chicks hatched last week of December ... weaned them 28 days out after ... start light system of 16 - 20 hours of artificial light ... to hasten to molting process ... is clipping the 9th and 10th flights recommended ... 12 week training starts middle of June ... 😳

I think the birds will be 6 months old and molting heavy not sure if I would race them. I LIKE OLD BIRDS TO RACE MORE THEN YOUNG BIRDS. I would not pull feathers .

Danny It seems your preference would be to race OB's ... and I too like to go that route ... only question and concerns ... would be if YB's would miss out on there season of experience ... on OB's side I believe they would be more matured, stronger and hopefully smarter ... 😉
