Great!! It works super well for young birds AND this loft is still in use today! The only thing I might change is making the opening to the bottom aviary bigger for easier human access to the birds. Good luck! Subscribe and keep me posted!

+Johnny Walker From the floor to the top before the pitch (just above the door) it is 6' tall. From the floor to the top center is 7.5' tall. The enclosed part is 4' wide and 3.5' deep. The bottom aviary is 4' wide and 32"' deep. I hope that helps! Good luck!

Sunil Krishnappa Yes I did lose a few pigeons during their training and racing season. I started with 15 birds and lost one on the first 40 mile toss, another around 80 miles, and 2 birds on the first race at 120 miles. It is typical to lose some when you train and race them. Good luck!!

nice loft...... what is the dimentions of drop trap?

@Dhonz Ki Thank you! The 2 openings are 4 inches wide x 6 inches tall. I made it using two 8 inch 1x2's, drilling a hole in the middle and setting the dowel in the middle and then attaching that to two right triangle pieces where the right angles are 7.5 inches each. @Randy Truthful, I have kept a very small number of birds. My YB teams include no more than 20 birds. Yes, I believe you can still buy YB kits from various big names breeders. You should check out www.newipigeon.com. Good luck!
