I used to go with my Dad to race at Williams Grove in the 70's. 3 nights in a row. Williams Grove, Selinsgrove, Sunday afternoon me in my kart at Milton, then Penn National for Sunday Night. For me in modern times {?} I would go to Williams Grove with Lenny Krautheim a few times as I was itching to get my own car. After getting my Roy Morral Hardees #880 car that won Ohio Speedweek with Keith Kauffman {Lenny got the other one} I began my sprint car racing thing at Selinsgrove. I won the consi! I might have ran against your Dad that night? I know I ran with him on occasion? I enjoy your videos because it reminds me so much of how it was when I was driving. Things change over the years but the human element doesn't. I like your videos because you show the human element.

Congratulations on the result. Looks like you really got the car dialled in for the track by the time you got to the feature. It would have been interesting to see how it would have gone had you got that little bit more track time. (Seperate warmup and time trial etc). Did they condense the program to save tires or something else because it didn’t look like time was an issue?

Multiple reasons but mainly I didn’t have the help on a Saturday in the shop to get ready for Saturday night. I have some new crew and are willing to put the time in to race. Makes big difference!!

Good question, seems about the same as far as tires go and fuel. Motor might be different story but it was dry so it didn’t really work the motor hard.

REALLY enjoying your channel.. The tech tips and the how's an why's.. I grew up around my wifes uncles Sprint cars up here in the REAL Northern California (North of Sacatomato). I wish we lived closer so I could help ya out.. Is there a way you could put a Go Pro pointing at you feet and have a screen in screen with your hands? That way the viewers can see what your feet are doing with your hands. I bet most new fans think you just steer that thing around the track LOL Keep up the GREAT work

don't understand why you were not running the grove, they pay the most for this area but i guess it would be harder to get a top ten but but compared to baps and lincoln you have more room to race and your equipment is equal to most of the competition.

Well there’s a couple good reasons but the biggest is motor, our motor program is not up to speed when the track is “fast” . Dry slick is an equalizer.

I hope that Billy runs all of speedweek my opinion is that if Billy was to start racing with the outlaws on speed week and race fri an sat that he would get more laps an more laps with guys that race all the tracks in the us and he would just get better and I think he would be a pa posse guy like that wins consistent like Danny, lance , macri , marks, you get what I’m saying he has the skill he has the motor he has everything he needs to compete an beat these guys regularly he just needs to be out there more then one nite a week I’m rooting for you I’m supporting u Billy and when you get to that top pa sprint car driver I’ll still be rooting for you I hope you really consider everything I’m saying you got what it takes!
