Some of his horses have given me some of my best sporting moments, as a person he seemed a class act, he will be missed

Loyal too. The loyalty to Henry Cecil and the sportsmanship of this racing giant got the rewards he so deserved. Racing has lost one of its best supporters. I never met anyone who didn't admire this man. Thanku for all the great horses. R.I.P

Responsible for having owned, bred, & raced some of the greatest thoroughbreds to have ever graced the sport, and that list goes much further than just Frankel & Enable. One of my favorite things about Prince Khalid was always how fearless he was about letting the horses he felt were his best lace em' up and go toe to toe with the best from Darley, Coolmore, Godolphin, etc...... He always said that's what the sport is supposed to be about, the best taking on the best and not dodging going up against one another. He was as sporting as your ever likely to see another owner of his magnitude ever be again, letting those incredible horses that Juddmonte Farms were responsible for breeding and producing stay in training and continue to race on longer. Prince Khalid did that when other wealthy thoroughbred owner/breeders hadn't or didn't.

I only stumbled across a video with Enable and became fascinated with this horse & then horseracing on the whole. Amazed at the bond Frank Dettori had with this horse. An amazing work that Prince Abdullah has done over those many years....dealing with horses since 1977, that is a love for horses. Seemed alao like a real humble, soft spoken person. RIP good lad.

Winx achieved a RPR of 130 I assume you are talking about Enable an RPR of 129. Not that I'm splitting hair.

@@supersaiyanjin2199 I think many people would disagree with your attitude toward ratings. If you believe that horses are better because they have won group ones in four different countries . Then Frankel just never cut the mustard.
@supersaiyanjin21994 жыл бұрын
@@notwkrail exactly...ratings are based on opinions and it didnt make sense why she didnt get a higher rating on her prime in 2017...if other horses have achieved what she achieved then i would consider them in the same pedestal of world class horses...

@@supersaiyanjin2199 So in your opinion she is a better horse than Frankel. Maybe in la la land that's true.
