Racing YAMAHA sleds! Vintage Vmax-4 against Apex & Vector 🤩

We are a Yamaha family! It’s a beautiful thing living out in the country when you love your toys!!! Awesome day with the family racing our two Yamaha Vmax-4’s , two Apex’s and Vector. The old school vmax’s are such a blast to rip! Just some friendly family drag races 😅

The Vmax4 was and still is such a cool sled! I remember being a kid and going to the races in Eagle River and they had the concept sled on display, they called it the Shogun. I was in awe and couldn't stop looking at it. The hood was bolted shut and they wouldn't tell anyone what it had for a motor. My dad put money down for one, sadly he changed his mind and bought an Exciter instead. A friend of his bought one and let me ride it on a lake, that was the only time that I every got to ride one and I can still remember it.

my dad used to have a 2009 vector 1049 and a 95 vmax 4 800 that was piped and built for racing and when we would race the vmax would destroy the vector by the time the vector stop spinning and started moving he was already half way thro the field

You need a srx 440 or gpx 433.

The V MAX has a TZ750 motor in it.

One of the vmax 4 dosent sound like stock pipes, one of the best looking sleds ever made, like the collors on the early black ones better than the red 96-97, but the 96-97 engines make more power stock, vmax 4 must be one of the easyest engine to get more power out without using turbo.
