I'm not a car fan, I don't even like cars! But I have to admit that the Ford Mustang Dark Horse is the best Speed Champions sets this year. I even have it on my shelf. It's just cool but simple cars that can attract everyone even a non-car fan like me.

I liked a few of the same car based sets this year. That Retro Radio was not on my radar but if you AND Tiago C recommend it so emphatically, I should probably check it out (maybe as a rental - I buy sets only if they offer alternative builds or have useful parts). My personal favourites this year were two Creator 3in1 animal sets: the Safari Giraffe and the Red Fox/Owl/Squirrel. Those were the highlights in buiding techniques, sculpting and posability (AND versatility). I already look forward to 2025’s offering of Panda/Orca/Penguin families. You should really do yourself a favour and give these amazing animal builds a try. That designer is a Lego genius on the level of Mike Psiaki and Chris Stamp.

10341 NASA Artemis SLS for me and all time. Detail is astonishing, building process was repetitive at times but was well worth it in the end. Awesome set!

I know it didn't come out this year but I bought it this year so I would have to say my favorite set of the year would be the Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000! Great video, I love all the detail you had, keep up the great work and have a great year!

For me, for both value and ingenuity, my top set was the Earth and Sun Orary; building it with my daughter was an absolutely wonderful experience! Closely followed by the NASA LRV. I completely agree with your review in regards to the lack of info in the instructions for all the complex pieces, but i can easily forgive that when seeing the finished model and how well it displays and functions in equal measure. My final set was the Galileo Galilei diorama purchased on eBay, and for something so cheap, it was so much fun to put together, especially with its really cool embedded function. Thanks for an amazing year of content! One of the best out there and really looking forward to what you're bringing next year.

You inspired me to relight my LEGO passion with the dark horse review and after building it I immediately went on a streak with a few more speed champions (audi, lambo and a couple more). But then I also saw the ornithopter review and next thing I know..both the ornithopter and the DeLorean (an older fixation) joined my collection. Just when I thought I can call it a year and go back into hibernation, the VTOL was too nice not to get. And I got the Radio and the Ford GT for Christmas as a gift :)

In 2024 I loved the Disney castle , it was very tall, a lot of mini figures with it to play as well , I loved the tiny furniture you had to build inside ❤

Personally, #1 is the VTOL Heavy LT81 from Technic, i dont really love technic that much but it combines a lot of exciting functions with a great aestethic and value. #2 is the Dune Ornithopter, it is imo a perfect marriage between technic functions in a system based shell. #3 is the Midnight Raven from Dreamzzz, great raven build and i love the witchhut and figures that came with it

I personally dont own it(yet) but my #1 set from this year has to be Cole's dragin titan mech. It is such an amazing design and from what ive seen it has so much articulation. As for a set i own, I'd also give it to the mustang dark horse. Like you i wasnt impressed with the intial photos but once i built it, it was a pleasant surprise especially with some of the techniques!

Owning both the jesko and the Merc, I was plsitively impressed by both. The g500 was a real joy ti mod, but unfortunately I had a problem in its gearbox.

Luckily I received the Polaroid, the Radio and Chess set for my birthday this year. All great little sets. The Countach unfortunately was the most disappointing set, but by far the best sets were for the seafarers out there. My favourite movie Jaws got the Lego treatment, but easily the best set of the year was the Endurance set, luckily for me it came with the Shackleton Lifeboat, brilliant build and brilliant display. I think the best Technik set of the year was the NASA Apollo 17 LRV. Because of it's special folding mechanism and 4 wheel steering.🙂

The huge City sets from 2024 are mega!🤩 BTW: bought the roller skate for the wheels too😅 Built two alternates for it(Bunny and a creepy Spider). But nobody seems to care about alternates for this set.🤷
