I'm sure that there are a lot of people who have wanted to do this for a long time. It's so good to see a Tesla that some would consider junk or salvage, being turned into a high performance sedan. I wonder if he'll sell it or keep it. I wonder if he's had offers to do this to other peoples Tesla's. Lots of very good questions. This is the absolute best way to "recycle" a Tesla. I wonder if anyone else is going to try to do this to a damaged Tesla. Very cool. I wonder if he, or someone could do this same kind of thing with Ford Mustang parts, instead of the LS. Thank you.

It's a neat car, but if people do too many E to G conversions, it'll bring more heat from the EPA (especially in CA) for smog checks with more related regs.

Jut on that gear indicator thing - after a while, you will tell what gear your in from the rpm at a given speed. The only issue you can find with very torquey engines is you might end up in second gear at low seeds when you should be in first gear; you'll wonder why, for a moment, why the damn thing is sluggish pulling away from a near stop. You'll realise t check if thre's another gear and find out you wernt in first!
