The lucky last for me, I was on Corbett's Cross))))) relieved to have nabbed another 2 with Gaelic Warrior and the amazing run in Rachel Blackmore had on SLADE STEEL!!!!! I should have been on Lark in the mornin too! But I'll take it!!!!!

His previous run stank of foul play, big odds on lights went out in a flash a long way out barely clambering over the last & not a word from the stewards. Not taking anything away from FOF's performance it was sublime but GW's was shockingly bad. Was almost any price you like after and backed like a certainty here on the day. All the BS excuses offered, left handed fizzy before etc didn't stop him here! Piss takers, someone knew more than the mugged off public the weight of money talks the obvious with almost the entirety of lined up media panels, the so called experts agreeing they wouldn't back it with free money now in silence.

It’s not suddenly it’s just how it is .Ireland all 32 countries have the best owners/trainers/jockeys and of course horses.willie Mullins will have 100 plus winners before week ends .the unknown horses will be well known

@@colmmcdonnell6256 The problem is that I only watch racing on ITV during the season and I am not paying for a subscription to watch Southern Ireland’s races. All these horses are unknown and they have flooded the festival with horses that will never get seen again other than Cheltenham.

Sorry to say but surely one of the worst Day 1's in recent festivals (and i'm not talking through my pocket). This Festival has been ridiculously overly hyped since October, and in the last month I've never seen so many bloody previews. And the rest of the season was thrown under the bus for this dull days racing. Weak Supreme, uncompetitive Arkle, worst Champion Hurdle in hist, and clear evidence that Lossiemouth was in the wrong race.

Well said overpriced, overhiked, full of want to be seen at the festival drunks. Go to the whitbread at Sandown. Or Plumpton, Lingfield, Ludlow far nicer people far more enjoyable

Their are a lot of viral problems out there this year. There Alot of horses with snots, or just cannot be got in condition. Its the same with cattle and sheep. Warm and wet, Then short cold snap. Write this season off
