@@michaelmulhall5007 your on a different page then me, I'm talking about Willie Mullins entering 2 or 3 horses in a race and telling ruby to pick the horse to ride that he has no business riding but based on the people knowing ruby's the stable jockey and he's decided to pick that horse then it must be the favourite, it's corruption and the punters pay the price for it so he's no sportsman, your comment is sort of irrelevant to mine what's the point your making I'm not talking about better jockey I'm talking about better human being

Ruby showing here he doesn’t understand depression. I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t understand it i almost envy them. I’m glad even. Depression is not self loathing or wallowing in any kind of self pity. At its crux is it being able to accept anything positive into your life .. that’s very basic. Anyway ruby was a great jock. Stayed around 2-3 seasons too long because at his emotional base he is an egotist. I don’t ever think this man cared about the horses as individuals like Mccoy did. Ruby talking like he came from a farm background and the animals were merely money making tools.

Seems nobody has ever asked him whether throughout Christmas to Cheltenham 2008 if he was ever planning to ride denman over kauto or if it was a tough choice
@heron9524 Жыл бұрын
He said in his autobiography that he made the wrong decision. He said he made an emotional call instead of a business call (so to speak). If he was'nt injured when denman won that years Hennessey he probubally would have chosen him over kauto. Sam thomas knew more about Denman's strength. As he was Denman's regular jockey at the time. That 2008 gold was the best i ever seen. Denman just Galloped kauto and the field into the ground, there was'nt a horse on the planet that was going to beat him that day.

We have to remember being a jockey is a sport and this guy alas, isn't sport. He isn't fun and always grumpy: doesn't even resemble a Jockey Ffs... As to ride winners, yes, he did win a lot on very good horses, and horses mostly did the winning.

Fun or grumpy aren't characteristics of being a jockey. Horse do most of the work regardless of the jockey. Clearly you haven't a clue about horseman ship
