My favourite horse of all time. You can see him hanging his head to get a better look. He always wanted to get to the front but he did what Mick was telling him but you could tell he was wondering if Mick had got it wrong. He was thinking he should've been a bit closer. A very easy win in the end. He then went to the Irish Champion Stakes where Ballydoyle tried to box him in but he was just too strong. Then, his performance in the Arc was exceptional - 9 Group 1 winners all made to look ordinary and that was after getting into so much trouble everyone watching thought he'd blown it.

I personally think he would beat Frankel in a Juddmonte international. Based on times he had a lot of speed so he would have the speed to stay with Frankel and then the stamina to go by him. Perfect racehorse

Racing fans here respect the Great Secretariat as one of the best American race horses. The whole story of the horse is legend a Champion to even us Brits

I don’t know why, they are different horses. Secretariat’s Belmont record is still unbroken even w all of this doping stuff. I don’t know why but Sea The Stars reminds me of Secretariat, even though they won differently.

Also let me clarify, unlike Secratariat, Sea The Stars progeny are excellent. See baaeed, among others . But that is bc They inbred Secretariats daddy, Bold Ruler

Gd sound breeding. Its a shame Secretariat wasn't a prolific Sire that's racing. I don't know too much about U.S racing so that was interesting from u

@@albae6938 Although Secretariat didnt do well as a sire of sires, he was an excellent broodmare sire. His daughter Weekend Surprise foaled A.P Indy, great racehorse and breed shaping sire. A.P indy went on to sire Pulpit, who in turn sired the legendary top american sire Tapit. Secretariats line was saved by his daughters.
