I had booked KIA Seltos for my family my daughter and son showed me the video of Nikita Thakur saying pappa South koreans has discrimination and racism towards we Indians, we must not buy their products. I was shocked so was my wife and my daughter told to cancel booking made with KIA and go for TATA Harrier. She called showroom next day morning and told the same reason to KIA and they called me to confirm whether the cancellation was genuine and was the reason same. The showroom could not just believe it and they asked me where did you get to know about it and told them about videos available on youtube, It could go deleted or be hidden later sometime, but i didn't believe South koreans have such hatred towards Indians,I told to my office colleagues that my daughter was firm to cancel the booking made with KIA due to this, they applauded her decision and I am proud as well my children's put country first. It was my daughter herself to choose KIA and my son and wife also liked it so i went with their decision as it was nice elegant looking car, but seeing their hatred towards our people, my daughter herself made the cancellation.

I was in South Korea for a year. I had suffered racism there myself. Me and my friend went to Busan on a weekend and we were not allowed inside a restaurant even though we saw restaurant was empty. Even in Seoul, taxi drivers don’t stop for Indians. Most of the time I had to take metro. They only resent because of skin colour nothing else. Like any other foreign country, they see us a poor country.

One of the major issue in India is that while the Korean companies negotite as a group to improve their bargaining power, the states in india fight among themselves to give the best discount. They go to great lengths to show they are business friendly. If we were to bargain as a country instead of individual states we could have done much better.
