I generally do not comment but I must say your vlogs are very entertaining-being a parent I seriously love the relationship you have with ur children - you not only provide guidance but have a strong friendship - very genuine and true to the heart ❤️👍

Commendable Anju.. very relevant and key topics you raised today and I appreciate the honesty with which all 3 of you answered sensitive questions which generally people shy away from and loved the fact that chungsi didn’t sugar coat it. Also providing solutions to these was cherry on the top.

First of all, kudos to the family for bringing up these sensitive topics which can change lives of the younsters. Very realistically presented, kids can't run away from these problems, they need to face, but that's easier said than done. In today's generation, most of the kids are extremely sensitive and that's a big problem, most of the kids get affected by these topics of racism and LGBT topic. Few kids, like your wonderful son, tackle the issue maturely. One can be in any country, difficult times ahead, for the kids as well as for the parents.

True what Chungsi was saying about survival of the fittest in secondary schools. Also I wholeheartedly agree with Santosh about joining a sports team or a music/drama group. Keep them busy😅

Very well made video. Even though I didn't need this information (no one from my family is going to UK anytime soon), but the way Santosh explained is impressive. And the way you make everyone sit together and impart that education is impressive too😅. Chungsi is looking good with this haircut..bless you boy.

Very good advise on gender. Kids to speak to their parents and not give into peer pressure and confusion but parents also should talk to kids because many kids these day are influenced with pop culture and gender confusion.

Chungsi is right there is lot off bullying in schools for Asian and darker skinned people. The whites do target them and not only children- I feel that even as parent I feel that other parents do not mix with brown and dark skin parents

I agree with chungsi..he is right ..my son is also chungsi's age and he has also gone through the same... there are kids who bully and then there are kids who get bullied... unfortunately if we come at an age when kids are sensitive it does gets difficult..I am not saying that it was easy but yes you have to work around it..if it gets bad you should try to take the teachers into confidence without your kid knowing.. because he might think that by complaining we are 'snitching' but it's on the parent how they deal with this sensitive issue. In the end, I will only say - please be there for your children. Observe them, talk to them. A new country, new school, new friends can get overwhelming sometimes. But in the end they will be fine. Don't worry. All the best to all the new kids coming to UK. Thank you Anju for bringing this topic and thank you Chungsi for sharing your experience. ☺️❤️

Good morning, very very nice useful video, Thank you so much, especially for growing teen age children, you have given nice conversation. God bless you Chungsi mon, Anju and Santosh very nice video. Bcz many parents have doubts about abroad, sending children into school, from home only you have to teach children about mind control, like while teasing or rascism, whatever children should know how to handle.

Anju you are absolutely right , only to try admission in Outstanding schools . I am in Harrow, and my son is in primary so no problem. But there are both outstanding and good schools here and we can make out the difference in students of both the schools just by seeing them also. O/s school students are well behaved n studious , mostly Indians in this area, but good school kids are totally different culturally. They dont look serious for studies also . When they are in group , after school is over, we cant tolerate their behaviors. I have seen them getting scolded by local English ppl because of all chaos they cause.🙄

My daughter is also in primary school in London. School is very good. No problem at all. Teachers are very kind and supportive. They will take care of children very well. So, don’t worry if you are new here just for primary school. I don’t know about secondary schools.

My son is very calm and quite and I am scared if he will be targetted.. thanks to Chunsi that he gave points on how to dela with bullying...Also one solution that I got is to send in grammar school as its mostly Asians there, so bullying and racism will be less compared to other schools.. Can u also have a video about grammar school? My son is in year 4 and I dont have much info about grammar school.

Racism among kids might be something you can get away with the right attitude and camaraderie or having more than one friend circle to move around in. But, how do you teach kids to deal with racism from authorities like teachers whom you have to keep on good terms to get through school or university? Especially in higher ed universities I have first hand knowledge of cases wherein professors have recommended certain opportunities and awards to kids of races they favor and put at a disadvantage other kids of races they are biased towards. For example giving better grades for the same or better quality of work produced sometimes done in student groups or another example is not recommending kids of certain races for scholarships and work opportunities. How do you deal with situations of racism from authority figures where you feel cornered and out of options to speak up even if you are aware of discrimination on the basis of religion and/or race and gender as well. This in many cases leads to depression since you know that your value has been undermined and as a result opportunities have been taken away from you in spite of putting in the work. Have you or your friends experienced this in the UK? I would love to hear your thoughts on systemic racial discrimination which is more difficult to overcome and can put people at a professional disadvantage.

Racism issues exist in all schools. I would in fact say there is more discrimination in private schools. Secondly, I also disagree with the statement that there is no discrimination in only girls schools.

I am a bit disappointed/surprised at some of the content from this. Pretty sure I spotted a few red flags 🚩 1. The take on bullying. I appreciate its very personal to him and they choose to share it but it was a bit unsettling that the option is to casually bully or get bullied. 2. Slight homophobia ( Anju saying touchwood my son never thought he was gay) again I might be wrong and she meant well. ❤ I’ve followed them for several years now so i know that they are very sensible and inclusive. Somehow I just felt a bit uncomfortable with this particular session . Anyway Santosh did seem genuinely concerned about taking a stand for bullying and to be fair both topics are very sensitive so likely to be easily misinterpreted. So kudos for attempting to address this and not consider these subjects as taboos .
