This is such a poignant and comprehensive deduction of recent and past events. I am so filled with gratitude and humility and a plethora of emotions as i write this. I have personally always struggled with the question of why people of color( mostly blacks) are unjustifiaby mistreated in an Islamic ethos. But now i know how to seperate the man from the ideal. This situation with the murder of Mr. Floyd has helped to open up a debate that is sorely needed in the Muslim community. It is not that Muslims are bigotted around colour. Even those cultures that are culturally indoctrinated into a caste system will never admit to a colour bias as Bilal RHA is one of the heroes of Islam. Racism / nationalism remains and has always been the practice within the Islamic world. Like many civilizations in past and today Racism remains unsolved . The fact there has never been or ever will be a united Islamic world is a testament to that blatant reality. There is not a single Muslim country that will accept you as a citizen of it's state and treat you as equal just because you are Muslim.
