I have worked with Americans for more than 5 years. The first case was NOT racism at all. It's just the language barrier which caused an issue, you couldn't understand them, they couldn't understand your language. He said fuck just like we casually say BC. That's it. I think you over reacted in the first scenario. They use slangs and words like this often, but not necessarily targeting you or being racist. They are cursing their fates that they got this small car and have to manage now. And they would have managed. When they accepted it and settled down, u cancelled the ride. That's when they got really got pissed off. At a certain age I used to be like you taking all offences to myself, but after all the years I learned the importance of letting go n not taking ppl seriously. Except for cases when they are really targeting you n throwing bad words at u individually. Now u might say that they saw the car at the time of booking n so on. But not many people pay heed to the type of car booked, there is a chance they may have missed the car info. I have been across ppl here who curse their fates using F words, but they just look at u n smile...u get to know they don't mean hard feelings towards u. So take easy and act as tho u don't care. They'll themselves be quiet after some time. End of the day, its your call buddy...Good luck n take care.

It was not their fate to get a small car it was their choice which i did tell them in the video if you saw it. They didn’t accepted and settle down in a peaceful manner first they abused the car when they were outside and its in the video as well you can hear. I was taking it easy and let the things go and let them sit in the car even after using abusive language. I doesn’t matter how you were in my age and what you realised later , i am not you , you r not me. Also its different time. Yes thats my point they saw which car coming , and if ppl not seeing and paying attention which car is coming well then its their problem , its their mistake not mine thats what they choose if they wanted to be 100% sure that they get a big comfortable car also they don’t have to look in the app to double check so they could just call the uber with comfort option or 7 seater more space. As i said i did take it easy but there is limit of everything and it was over for me , i did tolerate their words when they were outside the vehicle, but not gonna listen to these crack heads till the whole ride. No you are wrong they don’t get quiet after sometime… my call is don’t get harassed, don’t tolerate such behaviour , i really wonder how you can say these things , i mean its just like a business they pay DiDi to send a car which they have option to choose and the car simply drop them to the house safely. Why do they have to harass or abuse. Its simple as that pay and take. I don’t get paid to tolerate such behaviour.

I did took it easy when they used abusive language when they were outside of the vehicle and i still let them sit in the car. But they were just not stopping to Harass me and car , and as i said in the video that they knew which car is coming so they could just cancel it , very simple. Its there choice not to cancel the small car. But if they start harassing me over it i am not gonna tolerate. Once again i did took it easy and simply cancelled the trip rather than making it a huge issue by complaining to DiDi or by abuse them back , i just simple asked them to leave thats all.

I am gonna give you honest advice. I have experienced brutal racism before in Australia and I am African. In the first case, the people were talking about the car being small given what they ordered. It was not about the color of your skin or your Indian background. You should not have cancelled the ride without asking them if they would like a more spacious car. Perhaps, they were rushing to some emergency at their home and you just cancelled on them like that. In the second incident, you were right to tell the passenger to stop distracting you but the manner you proceeded was unprofessional. The passenger hurled insults at you, which was wrong. In both incidents, you appear angry and overly defensive, which is not good. It is like you are also biased against white people - you immediately accuse them of racism and want to fight. Please, don't argue with them, remain calm, since your have their details, report them to the service provider (UBER, DIDI, e.t.c.). You cannot control how people will treat you, but you can control how you react to things. Some things just let them go and pretend you did not hear them. Pretend you did not understand some things, for the sake of peace. You cannot fight every injustice, or discrimination.
