Apparently Robyn was already made aware over the phone that the assistant was going to do her hair with the hairdresser monitoring, to which Robyn agreed. When she got there and saw the assistant, she looked her up and down in disgust and demanded that she not do her hair.

Sharon the hair dresser. How professional was that!! Handled Robin and the situation between everyone and the workplace with grace ease respect and professionalism and didn't back down from her position. That's not as easy to do as she made it look. So gracefully taught Robin a lesson on how to conduct herself and what will not be tolerated in her shop. Sharon deservedly gained big respect from her colleague sitting behind her, and probably everyone who watches this video. "That's a lot Robin.......you have to go". Very tactful. 👍👍 Society is in desperate need of people like Sharon.

My personal favourite Karen story. Many years ago, I worked as a relief manager for a newsagent chain in Scotland. Covering for managers on holiday or sick leave, that kind of thing. I was in one shop where the staff were amazing, one of whom was Tracy, a really nice girl about 16. In walks entitled b**ch, snapped her fingers at Tracy saying 'You, go and get me that newspaper'. Without so much as batting an eyelid, Tracy replies 'Snap your fingers at me again and I will snap your fingers, get your own f'ing newspaper'. The look on the Karens face was priceless, she bolted out of the shop. Tracy turns to me all red in the face, 'Sorry boss but she just annoyed me'. No way was I gonna discipline her for what she did but I did say to her, 'next time, try it without swearing'

They were both wrong. The man at the end "fat shaming" shows exactly why some would go off on a hating spree. If he had said that to me, there would have been more than one cop involved. The "Karen" was obviously disturbed, but you don't correct it by being hateful yourself. Being firm is not being hateful, but he was deliberately choosing hate filled dialogue. In my opinion, all 3 of them get an F. The manager should have just said anything to de-escalate and get that woman out of her establishment.

My daughter got her first job a few months ago at a fast food joint. Having worked fast food myself years ago, I warned her of what she could expect from customers. Sadly it was the staff she had more issues with. They had turn overs almost daily and the manager didn’t stand up to rude customers or staff. One evening after picking her up from work, my daughter asked if I would be upset if she went back in and quit without notice. I told her not if it was for those reasons. When she came back out, I told her that I was proud of her for not asking me to go in with her and for sticking with the insanity for the past four months. She had a new job within a week for a great company with better coworkers, hours, and more money.

My 17yo nephew worked at Walmart last year and he worked the register. His mom, my sister,p also worked there (side gig). One day while he was on register duty his mom came to were he was. They had a brief conversation and my sister started walking away. This customer made some nasty remarks about his mom. So my nephew tells the lady he won’t be ringing her up and closed out his drawer and just left her standing there with her mouth hanging open. Piece of advice, before you open your mouth and start spewing vile, racial slurs you might want to try and find out who she is and if they could be related. You know peep 👀 out the situation first. My nephew told his supervisor he’d get back on his register but somebody else had to take care of that one. I’m so proud of him I could just bust!!!

No the hairdresser made it an unhappy place. The customer did not want the switch up and had a right to say No to that. The hairdresser should have told her I can’t do this today will you let my assistant do it. She could have said no thanks and walked out with no dye stuck to her hair. What if you thought you were getting your hot rod car painted by the highly recommend painter, but was told right in the middle of the paint job, that his assistant was going to do the job instead?

I want to thank that man. I appreciate you standing up for what's right. I'm an old guy now but I worked my way through college at burger places and donut shops or anyplace that will hire me. I had to take a lot of crap but nothing like they do now. People working there need the job and they work hard. My daughter worked in a fast food place too while going to university. I almost went to jail for the way a guy was talking to her at checkout. Thank you for all of us that have greafully worked at fast food and were the parents of kids that worked at fast food that allowed us to get degrees.

I disagree with the hairdresser on this point. She is paying the hairdresser, not the assistant and is older and set in her ways as to what makes her comfortable...that seems like total disrespect, since nobody wants to be dumped off on someone else like that without asking her permission first. The message to the woman was: you are not that important to me... No, she should not have lashed out at the operator, but the operator was vile to have her blackballed from other shops. Absolutely! Having a run in with one doesn't give her the right to call others and refuse her service!
