The Tamils and lower castes people are very dark,so in India darkness of skin is somehow associated with outside labour and lower castes.Even its true for most of the cases,cause lower castes untouchables of central India are descendents of Australian aborigines while rest of India are descendents of Indo-European tribes.The rich & higher caste people are generally on the lighter side of brown or olive due to more care and less working in sun and living in AC. Funny thing is that, well, let's suppose that this stuff actually DOES work (which is bullshit, it doesn't; it's like foundation), does anyone consider the long-term effects of using this cream (and other fairness creams) daily? According to research, fairness creams have a large amount of bleach and other strong substances that leave dark marks on your skin (like how I have on my chin; I was forced to use it in my early teens), make you lose your natural luster, and actually make you age faster. Moral of the story: this stuff is bullcrap. Just make the best of what you were born with and stop supporting the use of such detrimental (mentally, morally, and physically) products IMMEDIATELY.
