Just because somebody questions your relationship does not make it racist what surprises me most about this relationship is your wife she is a black American it is very rare to see an open-minded intelligent black American woman who will date a white man and marry one for that matter that surprises me I have traveled the world and have never seen black American women be open-minded to marrying especially white men I'm surprised what makes her different I'm curious

I love you guys, but some of your answers are just too trite, especially hers. I have dated interracially often my whole life. Yes I am a human and there is only the human race but we don't live in a vacuum the world is what it is and pretending otherwise moves the needle not one little bit. Yes, I am a human and yes I know I am dating interracially and I acknowledge it. , I am not an object but I can and have been objectified. I have dated partners for whom I have been a fetish, or have fetishized my blackness. I try to find out if that is the case up front and anyone who dates interracially often knows that can be the case and to look out for it. Also, you just can't have a thin skin about race and date interracially, quite often there is no cultural adjustment to make dating interracially. Americans are by and large culturally far more similar than different, we all eat fried chicken., listen to rap music, and are a bit too loud.

@clementmckenzie7041 I understand that my answers were a bit “trite” that’s something we actually discussed after the video, next time we can elaborated more on each topic. I personally believe race is not what makes us different it’s more so our culture that makes the difference! (Humans share 99.9% of the same genetic make up). So, my remark was out of sarcasm & truth! If I was to date the same skin folk nobody would ask me if that’s my first time doing such because it’s expected. However, when people ask if this is my first time dating outside of that I feel it’s out of either curiosity, malice or pure ignorance. I think women can be viewed as objects coming from the lens of any insecure low down dirty man no matter their racial background, same with fetishes. Unfortunately, It’s just common in interracial relationships I’m not ignoring the fact that it’s common in interracial relationships- I have not experienced being fetishized but felt like I was objectified by a man who wasn’t white but he was the same skin folk. 😬 it bothers me that interracial relationships have to be put in this box that sets us apart from other relationships in a negative way.

@@torynx94people do not ask you if this is your first time dating out of your race because they are ignorant it is because you are a black American nobody asks an African woman or a Caribbean woman if she has ever dated out of her race when they see her with the white man because they know from experience that these groups of women are more open-minded than black American women whether you want to accept that or not that is the general consensus in this country is that black American women are not open-minded enough to date someone of A different race it is not out of malice when they ask you that I myself am American but I have traveled all over the world and the most ignorant and least open-minded to dating people of different races or cultures are black American women and that is based on me traveling to 30 different countries so my experiences are not just based off my judgments it is from what I have seen

@@torynx94and let me clarify when I say ignorant I don't mean as far as intelligence I mean ignorance as far as to the differences of people's cultures and knowledge of different cultures that is what I am referring to about ignorance and it is not meant to be rude to say that it is only the lack of knowledge that people have of different cultures maybe through travel education etc just to clarify what I say by that not to insult people
