The fact that slavery happened in every country and in every nation is heartbreaking. From one degree to another, people can be extremely cruel to their fellow human beings.

Every time I read/watch/hear a story about the horrors of slavery that humans have put other humans through, it feels like a punch in the gut just knowing this kind of unforgiveable history. I'll 'never' understand how the human race can do this to each other. But we never seem to learn from it.

Only in America they show this ancient racist history stuff. No other country would go to this extent. Please remember, history is used to learn our mistakes, not to use America’s honesty to hate and shame America. Only global enemies would use history to hate and shame. Don’t let any global enemies destroy America from within.
@yashaurel8 ай бұрын
Ancient? This was in 1841-53. 65 years AFTER independence and the constitution. Is that also ancient history and should be forgotten? You say history is used to learn from our mistakes, how will that be done if its not shown and discussed? Just say you dont like seeing movies of real life stories of slavery because it makes you uncomfortable. Not everything is about you fam.

, slavery is still a thriving industry in many parts of the world and unlike a lot of contemporaries when there was a transatlantic slave trade The slaves were not castrated as they were in other parts of the world at the time and those other parts of the world had been trafficking in African slaves for longer and still traffic in African slaves to this day but don't worry the traffic in all colors and Creeds of people

It's like that now!!! Look at how Poor People are treated in America!! Jail like shelters/ Rotten Food All belongings stolen from them!! Who's mostly poor in America BLACK PEOPLE This prison for profit system mostly hindered the Black community putting them in jail for profit for trivial crimes and using them for free Labour Nothing Changed it's just more hidden and insidious now!!

Freeman is a Jewish surname. A large amount of Jews in America owned slaves. Judah Benjamin was one of the largest Jewish slave owners in the Southern states of America. It is estimated that 70% of slave owners in the Americas were Jewish.
