1981 gives me a metallic, ozonic, almost animalic, warm scent. That description doesn't sound good, but it works. I enjoy it. A cooler weather scent, night time scent.

I must say that Guess makes some solid fragrances, especially for the price point. I have quite a few in my arsenal, and I enjoy them all. Underrated/slept on house indeed! 💯

I tend to agree with this. I have at least two of theirs, and both pull compliments on the same frequency as stuff like YSL Y, or Mont Blanc Explorer but at a fraction of the price.

Guest 1981 is my favorite from the line. I've wore it as a signature scent in the summer of 2018 and loved it. I got metal and wood with a freshness without being blue.

Guess 1981 is a chipre modern juice , violet woody incense - cheap but great, sober and quiet , but with presence.

Popped into my Burlington as well yesterday. oddly had a similar lineup to yours. I never really gave unforgivable a wearing . But since I love 3am, I picked it up. Damn it’s nice to, these cheapie Golds Ross got me hooked haha . Have a good day !

@no name same chain yes, but some don’t get stocked well. My Burlington in town, is usually scarce. Very seldom do they have anything new. So seeing some of the same items in that particular Burlington that I frequent. It was odd as a refreshing first time I guess. But when I travel to the city over from my local. It’s pretty similar.

I took my brother-in-law for a cheapie hunt last week and we came back with some decent swag. I didn't see any 1981 Los Angeles but did see 1981. I will have to pick one up today when I go. I found Perry Ellis Portfolio Red and love it. I also never paid mind to the Dunhill Desire line, but ended up buying Desire Blue because it was ultra cheap...and I ended up really liking it. Sometimes these cheapies are great. Great editions this vid! Thanks!

That Dunhill Blue is decent and far the House of Dunhill it's not bad. I have a few in my collection.

I recently bought the Guess 1981 Índigo fragrance, to me it smells delicious. Going to the root, it smells like coconut. Doesnt smell citrusy to me. It reminds me and has similarities to Ginseng NRG. Índigo is a keeper in my book.

Guess 1981 was a sleeper . Best way to describe it as a hybrid it’ mature youthful yet classy. had no idea it smelled good and lasts a reaaaaalllllyyyy long time. A good starter or every day collection.

I had the original 1981. It was just okay to me. Not bad. Just wasn’t my thing. Indigo really impressed me. I love that one. I recently got Los Angeles after testing it and liking it. Indigo is still my number 1, Los Angeles 2 and 1981 is 3. I see the guess man gold in Burlington might have to get my nose on it.

Thanks for the video, was debating on picking up Gold the last time I was at Burlington. Lol, I honestly really do enjoy Indigo. The Coconut & Cedar combo makes it a very unique, masculine coconut fragrance IMO.

So many times I have passed up 1981 at my local Bealls. Literally just the other day we went to my local one and the one in the next town over and it was all they had at both places, and I passed it up. I might have to call my wife and have her go grab it. I could only find like Fragrantica reviews on it and they didn't make it sound very good. But I trust your opinion. You ain't done me wrong yet.

On your tout I ordered both of the Guess scents. Guess Gold is just that...GOLD. And agree with your jab at Guess 1981 Indigo. It's was horrid. My daughter and I both agree 1981 Indigo, smells like bug spray,and I don't mean the scented kind!🤢. Sending it back asap. CatB🧡

My friend, I thank you SO much for doing this video! I've had Guess 1981 on my eBay radar for a long time and I JUST found Guess Man Gold and added it to my list two days ago! LOL I'm definitely gonna pull the trigger on these! Also, do you think Los Angeles is a redundant pickup if I already have Eros? Btw, I noticed that you kinda skipped over Bora Bora while you were hunting. Have you smelled that one?? If not, I do recommend it bro. Quite unique juice and a really nice warm weather frag with it's kiwi note. Also, that was some jamming ass background tunes! Well done ma man!!!

Guess Night is alright. Super scratchy initially but after it dries down a bit it’s actually a pretty good peppery/vanilla/woodsy scent, especially for the $10 I paid. Also MFK was one of the perfumers.
