Noticed some negativity in the comment section about the content, so wanted to say I love the new direction of content here. I miss the occasional skit, but these podcasts and the games/challenges with friends show way more personality and have way more depth. Keep up the great work guys
@jinno115 жыл бұрын
Halomasterchief16 they have gone to the podcasts. Just take it for face value, they’re testing their avenues & it’s successful. I hope they roll with it long term, would have been good if they did it on a another Channel but yeah, it’s working
@firefoxyt66005 жыл бұрын
But what about the audience which loved the old content? Ryan should concentrate more on that content, which he's not really doin... I mean, its totally Ryan's choice but you know, he has not uploaded a regular video for weeks... I miss them too much and I can't watch 50 minute videos just for things like interviews... I really loved his genius skits... Well, his channel is kind of dead for all of the people who liked his skits and didn't want him to do something that regular KZbinrs do... That's why...I can understand the slight hate...
@Halomasterchief165 жыл бұрын
@@firefoxyt6600 That's your right to not like it and not watch it. No one forces anyone to watch anything. It's okay to miss the old content and ask Ryan about if he ever plans to do it again. But I imagine 1000s of people badgering him about it makes him want to do the old skits even less. People change, and content evolves. Sometimes, people just need a break. Like you said, it's his choice and we need to respect that. Spending time hating on it (like saying "this content is shit" which is the type of negativity I was responding to) is a waste of your (not you specifically, but those type of commenter's) energy and time. Either like it or don't, watch it or don't.
@firefoxyt66005 жыл бұрын
@@Halomasterchief16 but he should do the old content too, thats the content which gave him this many subscribers... He should have done this content on another channel if he wanted to do it... I dont even know how Ryan ended up liking this content, cuz you know, he was always this genius dude who would make good skits for fun... Now it's more carter oriented or something... Well, i dont wanna talk about this more because i might be looking really mean now... But he should have done these podcasts on another channel... What's the meaning of completely changing the content of your channel which gained this many subs due to those silly and genius skits? He should have started from scratch... This is like, he's desrespecting his subscribers (I know he's not a bad guy, but what else can the guys who loved his content think?) I'm sorry if I'm sounding too mean to Ryan...
@Halomasterchief165 жыл бұрын
@@firefoxyt6600 Is he not still Ryan Higa? He and his team are Nigahiga. Whether they do skits or not is a content choice, but the channel is supposed to reflect the creator not just the content. He switched content and that is what the channel is right now. Could it change again someday? Absolutely. He is not disrespecting anyone. He is assuming you were here for him not just a skit style. And whether that is true is up to each individual viewer, and each has a choice in whether they still like Ryan and whether they like the choice of content. And regarding the genius skits, yes they were fantastic. But consider this, eat cake and nothing but cake for years. It sounds great now, but eventually, you will get tired of cake and want to eat something else. Same thing. Grind away at the same content for over a decade and you want to try new things. That's where he's at. Not saying you have to like it, but consider from his perspective trying to make content he likes and being shoehorned into doing one specific thing, forever. He's taking a year off the cake. Maybe he's sick of cake for good. Time will tell

I’ve listened quite a lot of KZbinr podcasts and for sure off the pill has to be my favourite. I actually hoped that it would go on for a while ever since the first one! It’s great to see how much people he’s invited from all sorts of fields, all the interesting topics and especially how it’s something Ryan enjoys doing. I think off the pill is the only podcast I’ve consistently gone back to watch every episode. Thanks Ryan & rhpc for all this great content!

Its 1 AM, here in Nepal. I’m here to listen to Ryan’s songs. Today I was singing nice guys and bromance in the afternoon. Right now, I’m sad for personal reasons, and I’m listening to them because they have such positive effect on me. I just want to let Ryan know, that he has made a 17 year old teenager from arguably one of the poorest nations of the world, Nepal, happy. Ryan, you are powerful. PS- i wish you all to like this comment so by any chance, Ryan sees this.

But I also love all of you guy's discussions, about PCness of the week and cancel culture and creativity and dreams... I say "you" as though I could address you directly haha, but honestly, this feels good. I like the chill ambiance. Much good waves from France, hope this comes back soon!... I'm running out! For people who complain about the content and can't be bothered to watch the podcast: 22:00 Ryan: “…This year, I’ve actually been taking a break that’s why I’ve been doing the podcast. Because I was like, you know… you kind’a felt like unfulfilled? It just got tiresome, I feel like I was making the same things and I get it like ‘oh this will get more views because it’s popular’ and you make something out of it. But I don’t feel growth. “ ; “…This is the first time I’m actually being myself on first channel video and people are like ‘why are you so grouchy? or why aren’t you happy all the time?’ …People just didn’t know and I just got tired of just doing the same thing. I think I’m just taking a break trying to figure it out… It was pretty exhausting.”
