Tried. After removing the internal bolts the issue is I can't get it to slide out. Is there a trick to it? Per the instruction manual it shows to remove the entire cargo with the attached mount as one single unit requires 2 people to remove. Which makes it a pain to reinstall and store. Removing it as two separate pieces like the initial installation would make this a one person job.

Very nice cargo box. Pretty pricey but considering for my Model Y for long trips. Thanks for the video, couldn't really find any on this item.

Great, yes, ideal for the Model Y, testing has shown the Arcos will INCREASE range by reducing the negative air pressure behind the vehicle. Thanks!

I want to use the box for my expedition vehicle's front roof rack. This means I will be reversing the driving direction of the box. I like how it is aerodynamic in that orientation which makes it somewhat of a fairing to reduce the truck's drag. I would think in that orientation the likeliness of rain working into the interior can't be worse then the intended hitch mount, as in the intended orientation there the vehicle generates a low pressure zone and sucks the rain forwards. Good that Trule structured the hitch mount separately. The things that will go to waste is the lighting provisioned. As far as I know this is the only box that is somewhat aerodynamic and with the big capacity and the form factor I need.

We purchased one of these and love it, and everything but the license plate light comes on. We own a Honda CRV so we don't have a built-in power connector like the Jeep. Did we do something wrong?

Is the hitch hook on the right side supposed to lock in place after the knob is tightened and locked ? Mine will push in but I am able to release the hook after the knob is tightened and locked. I wonder if that's normal ?

Hello. The Arcos offers 14 cubic feet of interior capacity and up to 100 pounds. Two deflated SUPs of those dimensions would seem to be a good fit, however, a test fit would be necessary to confirm. Visit one of our stores with your gear to check it out: www.rackattack.com/stores/

Hello. It would be the reverse of this step of install: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpu8hXeDaMmCna8 First, the the two interior bolts must be removed, then the box can slide backward to disengage from the base. Thanks!

@@rackattack This is incorrect. The slide "lock" is unable to disengage. And the user manual shows this to being a 2-persion removal process where both the box and the platform fork connector has to be removed as a single piece. Which would mean moving forward both the installation and removal process will always be a 2-person install. Unless you can show me how you were to remove both pieces contrary to what the manual shows.

Omission in the video is can you access the trunk items? Is there enough space between the rear bumper and the box to get items out of the trunk?

That only addresses the hatch opening not whether someone can stand in between the bumper and the box to remove items. It does not really matter if the hatch can open if you can't access all of the vehicle's luggage areas.

Terrible description of installing and removing hitch from receiver. No explanation whatsoever of the spring which fell from assembly when I unscrewed the bolt
