Usually, manufacturers will put a lubricant inside the barrel that needs to be cleaned out before shooting because shooting through it can cause issues. The reason manufacturers put the lubricant on and ask the consumer to clean it out is because these rifles get shipped all over the world and get exposed to many different conditions on their way to the destination. Of course by all means continue to not clean it out for whatever your reasons are lol just wanted you to be aware of why manufacturers do not clean them before shipping and ask the end user to do so. Some manufacturers actually state if you shoot it before cleaning the barrel you void your warranty. Some use petroleum based lubricants that can really be a problem. Good luck and nice rifles!

Manufacturers grease up the barrels so they don't rust while on the shelf. YOU DO NEED TO CLEAN THE BARREL AND NO IT IS'T THE MANUFACTURERS JOB, THEY DID IT ON PURPOSE

All FX guns need a good barrel clean on purchase.No big issue.FX barrels are superbly accurate.

I want the arca one with the bottle in the back I think it’ll be most like a leshy in that configuration and the arca allows a tripod witch is how I normally hunt it’s so convenient

Does this 300mm version have a shroud that can be unscrewed by hand from the font? Ive heard some online reviewers say the 300mm version (.17 and .22) does not have a shroud.

yes i believe the theory of lead ing in . to be true . the fx panthera hype is long distance accuracy sub 12 . but can the compacts rivals match this ?

Totally agree with the barrel cleaning, you don't buy a new car and have to pump the tyres up, fill the washer bottle or hoover it out inside. So why should you need to clean the barrel on something you have paid a fair wadge for????

Because they ship with an anti corrosion coating to protect them when in storage or being shipped around the world. Not cleaning them out is just daft. It takes 5 minutes. Your car analogy is silly. It's more comparable to buying a phone and not taking the plastic film off the screen when you get it out of the box. If you want to test the accuracy of a new gun, why wouldn't you clean the barrel and shoot it as FX intended? Sounds petulant.
