Great video rack. I have had mine for 7 or 8 years now. Its my only c02 pistol. Like you say, mine is behind glass in my gun cabinet and it looks even prettier behind glass so thats where it lives now. With it being a smoothbore 4.5mm bb, i didnt expect much in the way of power and accuracy and was surprised with both. 10metres and it was smashing beer and wine bottles first shot. I knew it wasnt blowback when i bought it so i went for looks and shot count instead with getting around 80 full power shots. My only gripe is the non authentic m1911 trigger. Maybe because it needs that length of pull to draw back the hammer in double action. Unfortunately the trigger return spring has broke on mine after 5 years so it only fires single action now, but like i say it stays in cabinet looking pretty these days. I did try to source a trigger spring for this model but to no avail. All the best from lancashire.

American here. Of course we can own handguns in the US, but if I lived in the UK I think I’d be most interested in the pellet Walther PPQ. The blowback combined with the rifled barrel and capacity seems like the most realistic UK legal pellet pistol

The problem with a lot of these air pistols is the lack of realism imo. The triggers are often ghastly and/or the blowback minimal (or as with this one none at all). Airsoft is the way to go for semi-auto gas pistol - and even the whole 2-tone thing (for non skirmishers) is largely avoidable now with the right insurance. They also make decent trainers for overseas shooting.

@@JammyGuns what I don’t understand is why can’t they just let you own .22 pistols if you keep them locked up at shooting ranges. I wouldn’t exactly say that equals ownership imo, but would pose little public safety risk and you can finally bring back handguns

@@DireAvenger001 The handgun ban came in over 2 stages - firstly all centrefires went under the "Conservatives" in 96, and then when Labour got into power shorty after in 97, they (out of sheer spite and ideology) added .22 handguns to the list... The idea of storing said pistols at clubs was briefly floated at the time but was rejected. The only part of the UK to avoid the ban on handguns was Northern Ireland as part of the Good Friday Agreement - an increasing number of us travel over for those reasons so I guess I'm thankful we at least have that as an option. I agree the law is an ass and logic was never a factor for the people that wrote the laws. We're not the only one's with silly restrictions (the use of 9x21 in Italy due to the ban they have on 9x19...) but without a doubt we have most western countries beat overall for nonsense. All we can do in make the best of it.

Always regretted buying mine. Looks nice but the triggers are massively prone to failure

@@peterwhite8424 Less shots per CO2 cartridge is actually the only downside of blowback system. Joy of usage however is simply incomparable. BB is more complicated for production of course, it costs more and that is where Umarex's cheat lies behind. Gun without BB, at a price of those with it.

Trigger isn't authentic, no blowback and a horrible looking tab on the bottom of the grip. I'd pay about 60 quid for 1 no more.

Absolute garbageproduct. Its not blowback Everything wiggles and rattles. Triger gives you blisters after 6-8 shots. If you ajust your finger it squishes your skin between handle and triger. Paint job sucks. All it does is look good from a far. Its unusable.

@@co2addicted788 I went for Sigsauer Spartan 1911. It survived 6000 shots and now started acting out. But up till then was a great gun. Now considering Sig Emperor Scorpion 1911. Also bought Cybergun, Swiss Arms Berreta P92. (it is avery accurate copy of Brasilian Taurus Berreta PT92 - i have that one real 9mm). When you place it side by side its hard to tell them apart because CO2 looks and feels so real. GREAT FINISH like a real gun. Even better triger. Light and clean break. Very acurate and easy to disasemble and maintain like a real berreta 92. Downside is TERIBLE reload of a clip. And if you load above 15 shots it becomes hard to pull the slide and first shot sometimes jams. But if you keeps below 16 it works great. 3000 shots so far no visible wear. Im using real gun oil before shooting on rails and springs because its easy to maintain.

If you want recoil, get a real gun! Looks nice, bit of fun, gas should last longer, will be more accurate than blow back!
