5:16 sick behind back shot by Jake - really reminds me how incredible these two are playing right now. The sport is dying but you still got some of the most exciting play in awhile. The only thing I miss is all the diving from the early 90's we saw when game was a tiny bit slower. If there was only a way to just slow the ball down I think we might be able to save the sport.

I think they are playing with the black ball now. Is a bit slower already. But yeah, I get your point.

12:21 freeze the frame, Look at where the ball is at when Kane is in open stance, its actually in a direct line towards Kanes right hand (non-hitting hand), while his left hand hold the racquet is in early racquet prep. There's no way Kane can hit that ball because it's too far right of the racquet path. By the time Kane moves his feet towards right side wall (as ball comes closer), Jake's already out of the way of a straight-in shot/cross court. Kane is purely acting like he can't get a shot off. If Kane just took a backhand, he could have still gotten a good shot off, he definitely knew that. No penalty hinder should be called.

I see your point. I much rather have the pros taking the shot!

Agreed ...he was fishing for a call for really no reason. He wasn't at risk of losing that match...

Man...as good asJake is, he just leaves WAY too many shots up for Kane to put away. He's got to go for more pinchrollouts to have a chance to win vs. Kane.

12:22 I would call replay. While at normal speed it may appear like Jake is in the way, Kane never got his feet squared away or got the racquet far enough away from his body to take a good offensive shot. He just not in an offensive position, so it's not a chance to kill the ball. To break it down further, you'll notice Kane stays in open stance until last second (when Jake is already out of the way). And Kane never had his racquet in standard offensive position, nor did he make the effort in time. In fact, Kane was clever to not move his body at all at first, so he could play it both ways, either decide to stay in open stance or move his feet towards side wall like he normally would take an offensive shot. That's what I hate about pros these days. Too much acting. Kane's def allowed to call screen or replay for safety however. Lastly, Kane could have still taken a shot after all that but he didnt.

I watched in slow motion, You are right! But is hard for the Ref to make that call on the spot.
