Get controller upgrade for Rad 6 Plus from Electro Bike World for $248 if you wand more power on hills but it doesn't really increase speed on flat terrain. Change front ring to 50 or 52 will help on ghost pedalling.

Thanks for the review, I pulled the trigger and bought it for €1,199 (!!!). I know the motor is not the same in Europe but all bikes here are 250w anyway, but at this price point there's NO competition honestly. Much inferior bikes are being sold for €1,999 and most bikes at the shop go for €3,000 and up. Bought it for commuting 20km/day on a rather flat city, and we get like €1,000 subsides for buying new ebikes here so €200 for a bike like this.. it's a gift LOL... I've added the full insurance + rear rack, front basket, battery case + a bunch of third-party accessories (handlebar cover, mirror, alarm, GPS tracker, chains & co, hexlox, phone mount) and all in all that's about ~€1,800 total for a fully equipped RadRhino 6 plus 🗣️🗣️🗣️ deal of the year!

Depend on your weight i'm 190 could get around 18 miles on throttle only.

I would get the 6 plus over the grizzly any day. That price point is insane I could get 2 rads for the price of the grizzly. You cant beat the Rad prices right now.

Thanks for taking the time for a review. I have two 2016 Radrovers with over 7500 miles between them. I had the usual controller issues and a few quality control problems; but, all fixed under warranty. It has mostly been 3 sets of tires and 3 sets of brakes after the warranty period. I did have to do similar upgrades like cirrus Kinekt bodyfloat suspension seat post, Cloud-9 cruiser seat, Sunlite 0-60 degree adjustable handlebar stem, Bike handlebar extender, TRP Spyre brakes, Niterider 3600lm headlight, larger pedals, Topeak rear rack+Topeak bag, 1859 Northwest thumb throttle attachment. No plans to upgrade since the components and battery still performs to my riding needs.

Currently this model in the UK is for sale for £1099 and that is about $1,350 so for us in the UK it looks like a great bargain. Just to say I bought from a friend a second hand Rad Runner 1 with around 600 on the clock just a few months ago. It is just a hoot to ride - a sile every mile. Just a shame it is so cold and wet at the moment here in Scotland but I try and get out on it when i can.

Great vid and congrats on new Ebike. I'm also in the market for my first fat tire and narrowed it down to RadRover 6 Plus and Lektrik 3.0. May I ask what bike rack you paired the RadRover to? The back of the tire with fender and tail light might be a problem if I go with the QuikrStuff Mach 2 bike rack. Thanks

As far as AirTags and bikes go I’ll say this, mine was stolen followed the, to end destination called police, police went and said it was inside the building so there was absolutely nothing they could do! True story

Zinc as a retired law enforcement I can confirm that air tags are nice but limiting to law enforcement. Numerous times we would get calls which directed to an apartment building. People expected us to knock on every door. Without you seeing the item go into the location or a warrant to enter, law enforcement hands are tied. Its not that they dont want to arrest someone. It has to be done legally.
