A little slower and with more expression , then it would be the real thing. Anyway, this solo is a challenge for evryone who likes to roll.

First, well done, congratulations. It's not easy. But second, it is obvious that you haven't ever been in Basel (where the Radac Tagwacht originates), as your drum technique as well as your drum feeling differs considerably. Listen here how the Radac Tagwacht sounds when played by Basel drummers on the kind of drums the piece was written for: youtu (dot) be (slash) IpbtGKtgeTA (You must repair the link, as links cannot be posted here.)

This is his attempt at it, and without any instruction on Basel drumming or Swiss drumming, a job well done! I have lived and traveled in Switzerland many times and have studied Basel drumming for many years. This is not an easy piece to get without any instruction. This is his interpretation of a classic Berger solo. No need for negative comments. If you are a Swiss drummer from Basel or anywhere in Switzerland, I have always felt welcomed, and instead of negative feedback I have always been positive feedback on how to make my drumming “more Swiss” as my Basel friends would tell me. Each time I play in the competitions I get notes from the jury (judges), on what I did good vs what I did wrong that particular day. I always welcome more Americans friends who are willing to learn this awesome art form of drumming! And as my good friend from The Old Guard always says, we need to continue to share the traditions!
