Honestly, it's strange how the music for both of them is so different, yet both still perfectly fit the end of the game and are both so beautiful. Radagon's theme might legitimately be the best track in a FromSoft game I've ever heard, and I only love it more the more I hear it. Edit: just listened to them in the soundtrack, the Elden Beast's theme nearly brings tears to my eyes with it's beauty. I fucking love this game.

The Elden beast is extremely interesting, when I first saw it I thought of those large scale images of galaxy superclusters. Which made me thing about how much of an influence this creature actually would be. Not only to the world, but to the entire universe itself. Everything about it is so un-natural yet so familiar, and with its "face" being a centre point of light that almost looks like it follows you wherever you go, it gives me that feeling that this thing was the centre of the universe. Another thing I found interesting is in the descriptions given of this thing. If this creature is the embodiment of order and how the universe works, then that could mean killing it would be physically breaking the order of the universe. Which strikes a similarity and contrast with Dark souls, as that entire series is about a broken order of the world, and trying to get out of it or fix it in any way possible. Which brought me down a big rabbit hole that made me think that Gwyn and the rest of the "Gods" from Dark souls aren't gods at all, but just simple lords with a lot of power. Like the Tarnished. I found it so powerful that when you beat the Elden beast it says "God Slain". It has that impact that, not only did you confront this creature of extreme strength and power for the first time, but you defeated it at that same time as well.
@notthalis9545

So lore-wise with the Elden Beast, I think it's definitely one of the more intriguing bosses with it's role in Elden Ring. Judging from the beautiful arena we fight the beast in, there is more then one Erdtree that pertains to the Greater Will, which could tie back to maybe why were able to play multiple NG's on the same save file, as From has the tendency to give a vague reason as to why we're able to do such a thing. It might also imply that there are more worlds that span across different dimensions, with the Greater Will having it's hands in all of them, which is probably how it gets so much power/influence with the amount of worlds it inherits it's powers too/from. Reading the remembrance of the Elden Beast, you can see how powerful this Greater Will is, as the description gives the impression that it is something entirely above the beast, like another God that sent down the beast to be more of a observer for this world, with it's purpose to make sure that the Golden Order is looked over with how it should be. It can also be read that the Greater Will itself sent a small portion of itself within the beast, given the use of the word "vassal" in the description, and would make a lot more sense after you kill the beast and the screen pops up with the text "GOD SLAIN", as you did technically kill the god, even if it was a small portion of it. You can see the big scar/shattering area that on it's belly, more then likely because of Queen Marika's actions of shattering the Elden Ring, crippling the beast in some way as a result. I think there's a lot more to read about with it's role in different areas of the game being unknown, like its relationship with the multiple finger factions that are in the game, if it is responsible for the merging of Radagon and Marika (if they were even different entities to begain with), and if it's true intentions with bestowing the Golden Order. From definitely took a book out of Bloodborne's concept with the Great Ones and entities greater then what we see, but I'm not complaining because I think they approached both ideas in a interesting way. One game looks at how these god-like beings bestowed the foundation/fundamental rules of the world it inherits, while the other game makes these entities look at escaping the fundamental rules of the world that they exist in.

HOLY SHIT! I just realized something, the design of the Elden Beast resembles artistic depictions of what the Laniakea Supercluster looks like! Laniakea is the Supercluster that our Galaxy belongs to. This would also tie in pretty well with it being a creature sent from some Cosmic Outer God that probably exists in space and is beyond our comprehension and it also ties into the whole cosmic aesthetic it has!

Anyone else notice how the sword of the elden beast seems to have the shapes of a ribcage right above the handguard ? And how the handguard itself has one intact and one broken "arm" ? This combined with the fact that the elden beast appears after submerging Radagon, and pulling the sword out of where Radagon was submerged, I think it is a safe assumption that the sword is in fact Radagon/Marika who have been deformed into this shape. Edit: I watched the cutscene again, and you can clearly see that the handguard of the sword has a hand at the end of the intact arm.

The scenery at the end with the Elden Beast summons to mind a dream I had many years ago. There was a great dark tower in an infinite snowscape. The tower seemed endless, but at its summit was a vast forest of tall mirrors. Each one would reflect a different aspect of the soul; a glimpse of who you might have been in a different life. In that place you could lose yourself. Fall into the mirrors, and the reflection would take your place. It's not exactly the same. These are trees, not mirrors, and in my dreams the colours were much more pale and silver rather than evening gold. But other than that the visuals are strikingly similar.
