I know Baborak horn performances very well. I can hear a horn concerto and just by the playing and tone I can tell that it is him playing. Through out the years I have come the enjoy his performances. I consider him a the heir to Dennis Brain legacy that has the "it" factor while Barry Tuckwell can be said to really the one (yes it can be said great virtuoso) but it is just he does not have the "it" factor as Baborak has.

For some reason he doesn't sound as rich and warm in this performance than he does in the one KZbin video of him playing with the Berlin Philharmonic. Maybe just a coincidence, maybe its the concert hall. Nonetheless, FLAWLESS and SPECTACULAR!!!

Great solo performance, but orchestra should be really better (in compare to Radek)...
