Remind anyone of the ammo counters on the Pulse Rifles from Aliens?

Nice idea, but that thing sticks off the side way too much, on Ar and pistol version. shrink it down to where it doesnt interfere with carrying concealed, and im good

How well it works is debatable.

don't know about that. It DOES remind me of the weapons from the Halo series of videogames. I would only ever get it for an AR-15 but currently their sensor only detects 12 rounds even on a full 30-round magazine. so the display would be stuck at 12 for 18 rounds until that device was actually accurate. They should have waited to put that product out until they could get an accurate read on any type of magazine or round count.

Can you adjust the numbers on the digital counter If I get a extended magazine?

How does the system work? Will it allow for different capacity magazines on the same firearm? What if one was to insert a magazine that only had a few rounds left in it?

so a cute lil one for the pistol but that ginormous one on my ar?!?! srsly can we shrink that thing down?

Can we have it give an accurate reading if your using a standard 30 round magazine in an AR-15 FIRST? After that yes let's slim it down.

What if you use magazines larger than a 12 round capacity on and AR and what if you have the wilson-combat 10 round mags for the 1911? They should have waited until they could put out the tech to allow for an accurate count every time despite different magazine capacities not just conventional (1911) or in the AR's case UNCONVENTIONAL magazine capacities. (anybody ever heard of a 12 round AR magazine?)

from what I understand, You have to insert their proprietary magazine FOLLOWERS into the magazines before use. So if you were to say pick up a spare M&P mag from a buddy, it would not work with this system. They really should have worked the kinks out before taking this to market.

A little late but, after a shooting you're going to court to defend yourself so, do you really need more than like 2 mags for the gun you'd be using this on?

Aliens technology! :D Cool, but that lady in the video was a complete idiot. It would take only about a second to check the mag the traditional way before charging into battle. And, speaking of that, I've always been told you should not look for the home invader but retreat to an easily defensible position and call the police. You aren't a SWAT team (and even SWAT has nightmares about clearing buildings of armed hostiles). I think the technology is very neat and I hope it becomes available to a greater variety of firearms soon! It just should not be advertised as a substitute for proper training and common sense.
