Radhim Does it all in his Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis (KAFO): working hard, playing harder

Radhim, a 38 year old general contractor sustained significant nerve damage to his left leg following a motor vehicle accident. With his knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFO) Radhim continues ATVing, snowmobiling and even cage diving with great white sharks.

@@justinjutinstinson172 normally a stroke patient or similar would not get such a device/orthosis. We can often control both the ankle and knee joints with some of our ankle foot bracing solutions which are not as involved, encumbering and would be significantly lighter. It would be rare that we would ever suggest a knee ankle foot orthosis (KAFO) for those with strokes.
