Really enjoyed this comparison. Would love to see a Cushion center with two small rounds on the side.

I'm trying this again. I enjoyed this video - beautful diamonds. I love the 1.3 carat radiant cut with the wire basket and the cathedrals are beautiful. The Radiant cut is my favorite diamond shape/cut. My engagement ring is E/VS2 Radiant cut with excellent length-width ratio (The length-width ratio is really important ladies.), and the brilliance is amazing. 20 years ago, it was not as popular, and it's nice to see the interest in the cut over the past few years and all the custom designs.

How is the sparkle on it? I have a princess now but am disappointed in the amount of sparkle
@gemradiant63503 жыл бұрын
@@heyimcortney Hi. The sparkle/scintillation is amazing. A Radiant cut has the greatest amount of facets of all the traditional fancy cuts. It has 70 facets, while many other fancy cuts have 57/58 facets. The faceting pattern of a princess and a radiant is different; it depends on which look you like. You also need to have a nice balance of color, clarity, and a very good-excellent length-to-width ratio. Lauren B probably has info on that too. I hope this helps!

I’m not sure if it’s me but radiant cut looks so much better on a 4 prong solitaire

Love the radiant cut! I've one set in 14K yellow gold. I'd love one set in either platinum or palladium (after watching this video). Mine has a low setting, so I'd like one which is elevated. Thanks for sharing too.

This video needs to be uploaded in a higher quality. 240p doesnt do the diamonds justice

Such beautiful rings. Radiant cuts are my absolute favorite. May I ask the dimensions of that pave wrap ring? It looked perfect. Also the dimension size of the invisible gallery ring that you put on your finger with it? Funny enough these are my two favorite settings. I'm always going back and forth between these two on your site! Thank you so much! It'll help tremendously!

Would you reccomend a 1.51 H VS1 or 1.30 F VS1?
@laurenbjewelry2 жыл бұрын
Its a matter of preference and if you can't see the color difference to your eye then go for the larger one for sure

@@laurenbjewelry for a radiant would you reccomend VVS or could I just go VS? Or even Si1? I want as much brilliance as possible and I love the style you guys produce so doing my research ❤️

@@carlahill1701 Not sure if someone helped you but with Radiant you can get away with more inclusions. Only go with GIA because if you choose another report you won't get correct grades and your diamond with be worth less, it's just the way diamond dealers work. That being said you never need VVS unless you got a large >3 carat emerald cut. With Radiant you can easily get away with VS. VS2 stones at that size will 98% be eye clean. You may even be able to get away with SI1 but you will need someone to look at the stone. You do not want inclusions on the table. Lastly, color, you can generally get away with color in a brilliant cut. H is cutting it close you may notice a slight warmth(viewing from pavilion or belly of diamond) but for the most part will face up nice and white. Base your color on your ring setting. Gold can get away with slightly warmer I would go below an H in grade (unless you like warmth). Def don't waste your money on details you can't see (unless you're a collector).

@@DRJVNAVY thank you so much for this. I appreciate the detailed reply. I have enjoyed learning about this aspect of diamonds. Once I saw a diamond H colour I could actually see the warmth and it wasn't for me.

@@carlahill1701 did you end up getting your Diamond? It’s tricky with radiants because they are not graded on cuts. Just because polish and symmetry are excellent, doesn’t mean the stone will perform as expected. You have to look at the bottom of the Diamond plot on the GIA report, or speak to an experienced gemologist. You probably have learned all this. Cheers 🥂
