This and Symphony are battling for being my favorite Strive theme but I think it is indeed this one. Dizzy's one of my favorite characters especially because if her story and everything about her addition to Strive including this song shows her story progression perfectly. That blown out sounding part during the solo is a reference to her old theme from Guilty Gear X called Awe Of She. She was a boss character in that game, and the jist of her is that she's the daughter of the big evil of the series who died at the end of the first game but whose specter still looms over peoples memories. She never met her mother tho and she's nothing like her aside from her powers, but humanity was terrified of her regardless. Awe Of She is an extremely dark sounding theme that feels like a representation of the dark potential of her power, whereas her theme in Guilty Gear Xrd, One Dawn, is a more beautiful song that focuses on her personality as compassionate and motherly. Radiant Dawn feels like a mixture of both, it sounds super powerful but also super beautiful like a Disney princess. The motif for Awe Of She can also be heard at the end of each chorus and somewhat in the part of the solo immediately after the overt part. When Dizzy dropped they dropped a couple of songs actually! One of the other ones is called Get Over Nightmares, which is a song for when Sin and Ky fight, and those two are actually Dizzy's son and husband respectively. I'd recommend listening to both of those characters individual themes and then their versus theme! All of them and Radiant Dawn have through lines to one another, and they're all some of my faves. There's also Shelter From The Rain which was also released with Dizzy and it plays in the credits of her arcade mode route and it's really beautiful, a very different style from the battle themes of Strive.

Dizzy is one of most powerful characters in the series, within the top 5 if not top 3, and in the earlier games was very scared of her own abilities which she couldn't control. This song speaks to how important Ky, the "bolt of lightning", was in paving her future. It's a gorgeous celebration of how far she's come. From her happiness, confidence, and sense of belonging alike. Daisuke can't miss

Hate to break it to you, but Daisuke himself has stated that none of the drum parts in Strive's OST are played and recorded... Sucks, cause with all the great drum fills and double pedals in the soundtrack it would be killer to see the drummer struggle through the songs. Great video!
