A cool idea for this fight to begin would be this: Hulk saves Mithra and than turns back into Banner.(She is unconscious for this to work) As he checks on her to make sure she's ok, Asura shows up and ... well you can put two and two together. Asura thinks he did something to her, attacks Banner, Banner becomes Hulk, they both fight yadda yadda.

Script o’clock Startup: “Radiating Wrath” Cues immediately 0:00 The fight takes place in a gladiatorial arena in the middle of Sakaar, filled with spectators cheering for the insane fight that is about to commence, it’s approaching dusk 0:11 Asura walks though the gate, into the arena, we see the stands from his level as he looks around at the cheering audience, then he hears a gate begin to open, there is no telling what could possibly inside, so Asura prepares for a fight 0:34 To Asura’s confusion and surprise however, four guards surrounding a lanky looking man walk out, it’s Bruce Banner, and while he doesn’t look intimidating, the guards surrounding him seem to be trying their best to keep him at bay, as Bruce has extremely heavy looking cuffs on and the guards have him wrapped up in cables around his neck attached to long poles being held by the guards, pulling him along *Asura: what sort of trickery is this? Who is this skinny man? Where is my daughter?* *Bruce: it’s not me you need to worry about, it’s the other guy* *Asura: other guy?* *Bruce: please for your own sake, leave, I don’t want to fight you* *Asura: I will not leave without my daughter! And if I have to fight you for her then so be it* As Asura and Bruce are speaking, one of the guards grabs a powerful electric spear and gets ready to jab Bruce with it *Bruce: you don’t understand, it’s not me they want you to fight, it’s my alter ego, the Hu-AAAGH* Before he could finish, he gets stabbed by the spear and the guards quickly flee the arena, Bruce begins screaming in pain and that electric shock sets him off, he collapses to the ground and starts fidgeting as he begins to transform, Asura approaches cautiously but Bruce breaks the cuffs and punches Asura in the face, sending him flying, now Asura is angry, so he charges back at Bruce to try and punch him back, he throws a massive punch towards Bruce but is shocked to see that his fist was stopped by Bruce’s hand catching it 0:57 It’s then that he notices that Bruce has changed dramatically, his skin has turned green, and his clothes begin to tear as his body grows larger and more muscular, his shock grows even more when he turns his head up to look at Asura, he then stands to reveal he has grown much taller and more menacing than Asura, this is not Bruce Banner anymore, in his place stands the Incredible Hulk *Hulk: you make Hulk angry, you not like Hulk when Hulk is angry!* 0:59 And the fight begins, Hulk punches Asura into a wall and roars, the crowd cheers at the spectacle as Hulk pounces off the ground towards Asura, who quickly recovered and charges back to fight Hulk head on, they throw several savage punches towards each other, yelling and screaming in absolute fury, all the while their rage grows 1:22 The ground shakes with every blow as they rocket around the battlefield, trading fists with one another, until they meet in the middle and catch each other’s fists, Hulk is extremely strong and powerful, so Asura ups the anti, and enters his Vajra form, gaining 4 more arms and punching Hulk several times with them, before shooting energy blasts at him, hitting Hulk head on, Asura then runs towards Hulk super fast and starts throwing rapid fire punches at him, slowly building up kinetic energy. He then uppercuts Hulk up into the air before jumping up towards him and delivering one ultra powerful punch to the chest, blasting a hole through Hulks chest and sending him straight back to the ground again 1:44 But Asura soon learns that Hulk isn’t beaten so easily, when Asura lands, he sees the Hulk stand back up as the hole in his chest quickly heals itself, has refilled like it didn’t even happen, Hulk is starting to really hate this guy, so he stomps his foot and the ground shakes, Asura looses his footing and falls to the floor, the arena begins crumbling and the fight is getting out of hand, Hulk then proceeds to beat the downed Asura rapidly in the face, Asura tries to block his punches with his arms but Hulk’s punches are enough to shatter them one by one, looking off to the side for a split second, Asura spots his daughter Mithra in a cage, crying, thinking Asura is about to die, Asura is now absolutely fuming, how dare Hulk make Mithra cry, just as Hulk is about to deliver the final blow, Asura catches Hulk’s fist with his only remaining arm and begins to transform himself 2:10 Asura has now entered his Berserker form, and he is so angry he is beyond reasoning with, he regrows his 6 arms, and blasts powerful energy beams at Hulk, before grabbing him by the leg with one of his oversized arms and “Puny Gods” him into the ground several times, the force of Asura’s attacks are destroying the environment around them and the spectators are now worried for their own safety as the coliseum begins to collapse, people start running for their life’s as Hulk is launched into the arena and destroys the stands, debris starts falling onto the fleeing audience and a rock falls on top of Mithra’s cage, breaking it open and setting her free so she can get away 2:32 The fight is getting out of control, and it’s about to get worse, Asura has lost all control over his rage and his Mantra levels are so high, his body cannot contain it, he just really hates Hulk right now, but little does he realise, he’s also just feeding Hulk’s own rage, who has become so angry that he now taps into his infinite strength to the fullest and enters his World Breaker mode *Hulk: HULK BREAK YOU!* Hulk begins clapping back hard, Asura and Hulk are now neck and neck with each other, each one of their punches causing huge explosions that are shattering not just the coliseum, but the earth around it, until Hulk uses his Thunderclap attack that deafens Asura and forces him up into the air, followed by Hulk jumping straight up towards Asura and launching a seemingly never ending barrage of punches emitting Gama Radiation at his exposed chest, unknowingly feeding his Mantra Reactor, before firing Asura up into the depths of space with one savage blow, Hulk falls to the ground and looks up thinking he’s won, but only sees that he has unleashed something else 2:55 We see an overview of the earth and see that Asura has now entered his Destroyer form, which is even bigger than the entire planet, Asura the Destructor has had enough, World Breaker Hulk has gotten on his final nerve, and now he must pay the price, Hulk now must face “Asura’s Wrath” 3:06 Hulk can only stand and watch as this planet sized Asura winds back and throws a continent sized punch down towards Hulk, as the ginormous fist approaches Hulk it passes through the clouds and just when you think it’s about to hit, it keeps going, expanding and zooming into his fist while Hulk remains the same size, to the point where we see that Asura is now so large, that Hulk is now smaller that Asura’s individual cells 3:17 Until finally the giant fist meets the ground and crashes into Hulk and whatever remained of the coliseum, it seems like it’s over 3:20 But somehow Hulk isn’t done yet, he roars as we see him holding the colossal fist above his head and punches it with the force to send Asura backwards and away from the earth, then Hulk jumps up off the ground and zooms straight up into space to fight the Planet sized God of Wrath, Asura and Hulk trade blows up in outer space, to the Hulk, he literally cannot miss his target as he is so big and easy to spot, but to Asura, it’s like trying to swat a fly who hits as hard as you do, Hulk even ends up landing on one of Asura’s arms and running up the side of it, Asura tries to squash Hulk with his free arms but Hulk is running so fast he can’t catch him, and he find it so frustratingly annoying that he charges up one big energy blast fires upon the Green Goliath in an attempt to annihilate Hulk to kingdom come even at the cost of his own arm, while as Hulk’s running, he winds up his arm and gets ready to deliver one huge savage fatal punch to Asura’s face *Asura: FEEEEEEEEEL MYYYYYYYY WRAAAAAAAAAAAAAATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* *Hulk: HUUUUUUUUUUUULK SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* Who won? But, that slowed Hulk enough so that Asura took him with one hand, activates his thrusters and flew across the galaxies billions times faster than light. While doing so, Asura slams Hulk on every planets, every suns, every black holes, destroying theme while furiously punching him with his four fists along the way. ( You know, like where Superman punches Goku rapidly on that scene, but take that on Asura punching Hulk non stop through every planets, suns, black holes at billions of times faster than light )

Ending idea. Both are worn out to the point where they're both at their Worldbreaker and mantra states as they collapse in on each other, only for Asura to punch through Hulk's chest. Hulk: Argh! Asura: You are no mortal and you're certainly not a god, so what are you? Hulk shrugs off the pain as he walks to Asura with his fist still lodged in his chest. Hulk: Hulk is what Hulk is, the strongest one there is! Hulk claps Asura back as he charges his reactor as Asura tries to absorb Hulk's energy, but Hulk plunges his fist into the reactor as it overflows with gamma energy. Hulk smiles while Asura looks up to him in fear. Asura: Don't say it! Hulk: Hulk smash! The gamma energy surges through Asura's body as his body begins to disintegrate. Asura: Damn you! Hulk looks up into the sky as Asura is nowhere to be found. Hulk: Hmph, puny god.

As much as I like Asura, he just can't compete with the Hulk in strength or speed. Hulk much like a lot of comic book characters can be very inconsistent, but the Green Goliath's most impressive feats in both strength and speed far outclass anything Asura has done in his game. Really doesn't help that Hulk has a healing factor, which works faster depending on mad he gets. Also Hulk is literally *Immortal* if the most recent comics are anything to go by. It doesn't matter how angry Asura gets, or how hard he punches Hulk, he'll just come back in the end, and if Asura's luck wasn't bad enough as it is, he'll end up coming back even stronger.

2017 comment: Ahhh yes, my most wanted match up for years that will most likely never happen because people wanted Hulk to fight Doomsday and will never understand why people compare those two, when both so much better opponents. But there's also the fact that Asura's most requested opponent is Broly and will probably have to wait another 5-10 years for both to be used again, or probably not and never do this matchup, forever having a unfulfilled void in my heart of my favorite superhero vs one of my favorite video game characters not punching each other in the face :( HELL!!! NEITHER MARVEL VS CAPCOM WILL GIVE ME THE SATISFACTION!!!! What I'm trying to say is, this is a really good track. And hope you make more fan made tracks, thank you. Edit:Welp, glad to know this fight will probably never happen so I can save myself from disappoint now, lol's! Still a good song btw 2023 comment: after much cooling off and reading my old comment and cringing a little, my current thoughts at the time of me typing this is this; this is still a good song for my dream fight, even if it's nowhere near the top 10 or debatably 20 of favorite commission tracks Brandon has done, it's still good and much better for a vs track than Ikari. 2024 comment: it's amazing how much can change in less than a year. Firstly, sorry to Brandon and especially Therewolf that I came off as pretentious. Ikari is a really great song, it just doesn't sound like Hulk to me, But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate Ikari and this song, as well as the one who commissioned it, thank you. Secondly, even though Kratos vs Asura AND Hulk vs Godzilla are now confirmed, I feel... relief and optimistic. I've waited for this matchup for 10 years and feels like I can wait another 10 cause most of their popular fights are now done, Death Battle is now independent and free to do whatever they want and will probably listen to fans more often, now they don't have corporate overlords to respond to. And this match has a fighting chance to happen (either in a Death Battle or Marvel vs Capcom) since it seems like Death Battle isn't going away for a good while (and the MvC Collection brining back the series to the general public). I'll save my ideas for the fight cause of my kickstarter pledge, but I do have some ideas to difference itself from the other Hulk/Asura fights. And once again, amazing song Mr Yates!

I love Casey, I do, but Liu Kang kicks his ass. And I don't think Zack, as great as he is, is winning against Johnny. Ryu and Morrigan in many canons are friends if nothing else, and do not have reasons to fight. Morrigan would fight, like, C.Viper or something to give her a Street Fighter opponent. I'm sure that's happened in a fighting game at some point, Kyo vs Nakoruru. Plankton vs Cortex would simply end the same way as Eggman vs Wily, someone's creation comes out, gets corrupted by the other, both lose. Lucy vs Crona would be a DBX over anything else, or a simple one-off animation because, they already did the research for both, you'd have to compare yourselves. We've already learned that Pokemon are way beyond superhuman, and Greninja is far faster, far more skilled with water, and far more deadly than a Power Ranger. Tori gets her ass beat.

Before I'd have said Asura but recently Hulk fought The One Below All, a being said to be equal to the one above all (Basically Multiverse God). Also before Hulk returns I want them to take a second look into the Hulk because they got him so wrong. He's rage CAN'T be overtaxed and he won his battle against Sentry.

@@Oz-cd2qg Which is sorta the same thing, as long as the Hulk is angry his healing factor CAN'T be overtaxed and yeah they said guys like Sentry could beat him, Hell the Hulk recently defeated The One Below All who if I recall was said to be as powerful as The One Above All (Yeah recent Hulk comics are getting crazy) but I can absolutely see them pulling the same as with Venom Vs Crona and claiming it's an outlier even though it isn't because it's baseline Hulk and he doesn't get powers by they temporary or permanent. I mean this is the character who has been reduced to a skeleton before and kept on fighting.
