2" lead is over 10x reduction for 6MeV & Cs-137 0.662MeV, so likely closer to 100x reduction for Cs-137

Is the lead pre- or post- nuclear weapons testing refined? You need pre-weapins testing refined lead to get background really low, but you dont need that for measuring actual x-ray (uranium) & gamma ray (Cs-137) sources.
