New Jersey state trooper Phillip Lamanco is shot dead on duty. Unravel the mystery alongside the FBI's greatest law enforcers and forensic scientists.
#TheFBIFiles #TrueCrime #PhillipLamanco
Season 6 Episode 4: In December 1981, a New Jersey State Trooper was shot to death on the side of Interstate 80. Fingerprints on the suspect's vehicle pointed to a fugitive wanted on bank robbery charges.
The FBI Files is an American docudrama that takes a look behind the scenes of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's crime laboratory.
Real FBI cases are recounted through reenactments and interviews, due to the sensitive nature of the show, viewer discretion is advised.

To anyone wondering about the death penalty, LaMonoco's murder was in 1981 and the State of New Jersey did not reinstate the death penalty after Furman until 1982. Prior to abolishing the ultimate punishment in 2007, capital punishment could not be retroactively applied so, even though Manning was tried 5 years after the death sentence was reestablished in state law, the highest sentence was life. Manning died on July 29th, 2020 of undisclosed causes whilst Williams and Levasseur remain in prison.

WATCHING From Kenya where :investigations are haphazard ,one can buy freedom with money regardless of your crime, state corruption, murder, police corruption ,traffic police collect money by the road sides, judicial corruption, child molesters get released a few days without trial as long as they can pay a bribe (this pains especially when one of these pests are relatives and neighbors) ...the list is endless. hoping our authorities can watch this and learn how life is of importance in other countries.

I read about a lady, chosen for jury duty. Being very honest, she went to see the judge to explain to him that she had conscientious objections against the death sentence. He thanked her, then explained that the present case was not a death sentence case. A man had taken the money his wife had saved to renovate their kitchen and lost the entire amount gambling. The lady said, oh, in that case she'd serve on the jury. Then added "You know, Judge, perhaps I'm wrong about the death sentence too!"

Toure, Curzi, Gros, and Carol Manning were released during the 1990s, Levasseur was released in November 2004. Williams died in prison in December 2005, Tom Manning died in prison in July 2019 and Laaman was released in May 2021. So maybe they are still active somehow? There was no such 100% well organized captures of these guys like when Laaman was arrested there was a firefight in which two officers got shot and he was convicted of two attempted murders = if you take a person X who robs banks, plants bombs, shoots officers etc. and you lock him up with killers etc. for decades under the same roof - he is not going to become a stable and productive member of society but something quite the opposite.

I mean unless you want to explain why the ast majority of Republican run states have the highest incidents of poverty, illiteracy, under employment, lower salaries, terrible infrastructure, highest rates of alcoholism, opiod and meth addiction, etc. Ask McConnell why Kentucky is one of the poorest states. If fact, if the republican states split from the country they'd sink like stones economically. The south takes far more from the federal government than it pays. Why don't they withdraw from the union and elect trump and see what he does to the south.
