He probably knows more about rhyzophagy now but plant root tips have definitely evolved enough to mine their own food and farm microbes through the root tip exudation and reabsorbtion process, which of course as we now know, the mycorrhizal fungi can hijack this process and directly tap into this process and interact, taking and giving nutrients water and carbon.

All very interesting, but a critical question remains in the real world... What are fungi adversaries exist, and what is the effect if fungi are eliminated or severely decreased? Specifically, I'm thinking of worm castings and a live herd of worms which is normally a sign of superior soil ecology. Worms are well known to consume anything and everything that is nutritional and microscopic, and fungi is well known to be on worm menu as favorities. You'd think that where there is a healthy worm population, there would be a decrease in fungi so then which produces better soil? With worms and less or no fungi vs without worms and an extensive network of soil fungi? Or, maybe worm castings encourage the growth of the soil micrology so much that fungi and other would be competitors to worms become so abundant that fungi and other microbial populations hold their own at an elevated state? This basic question of worms vs fungi seems not to have been studied, I can't seem to find any studies regarding this.

You don't need that. The graphene oxide story ( it would be in C19 vaccines they claimed), it is not, that is just a hoax from some fanatic anti vaxxers.

so buying expensive Mycorrhizae products is a waste of money if you fertilize your plants?.....
@trevorfichtner35393 жыл бұрын
In a sense ya. Water soluble fertilizers kill microbial life. And if your soil microbiology is thriving and has the right ratios, mycorrhizal fungi will act as a filter, they choose what your plant takes in. If your microbial life is thriving, it's taking in EXACTLY how much it needs. Give a water soluble feed wont even do anything for the plant, except maybe cause a toxicity if anything. With mycorrhizal established, you wont need fertilizer. But your soil has to be thriving and balanced to the crop you have. Mycorrhizal fungi isnt the only thing needed. You also need bacteria, the good ones, not the bad ones, you want protozoa, and nematodes, the good ones not the bad ones, all that stuff. You can introduce it all with proper compost. Not the trash from home depot.check out Elain Ingham. Matt powers, jeff loewenfels and Elain Ingham.

Inorganic fertilizer and manure from livestock that are given inorganical feeds, dewormers will kill it off. Kills off other soil biota, too. Trees in a savannah set up help, Livestock and poultry raised organically will help. It's part of the balance. The guy above means Elaine Ingham...

Peter McCoy Fungi: the missing piece of the puzzle...Mycology a neglected mega-science, integral. Collaboration required to overcome social ignorance. Soil fungi badly impacted, ignored by surveys. Eukaryotic, ergastrol like chitin in cell wall is indicator molecule. ...but at this point I just want to listen.
