I love the idea of this run and all the mechanics involved. I still have absolutely no faith in a victory because the field conditions and team compositions in the second half are so frustratingly stupid that regular playthroughs spamming box legendries are still difficult, but for the first time, I do feel like you will get to see that second half. And for that I'm pumped.

1:26:06 hey @shadypenguinn the way I remember re-encounter dive being was 3-fold 1. If you encounter a Mon and fail you can re-encounter that same Mon. 2. If you catch a Mon on a route but then see a different Mon you want you put up the Mon you caught and release it but then get a chance to catch the next Mon you encounter (might not be the Mon you want, and the Mon you are putting up cannot be fainted) but since you can see all mons on a route I think this could be the deciding difference between a "Veto" as you need to catch the Mon. 3. If a Mon you caught on a route faints you can use the re-encounter dice to attempt one encounter on that route. If it was the same Mon that fainted, you can catch it. If it is a different Mon it's a failed encounter. But it's your run and your rules so you can adapt them whichever way you like or just make this a different tier/percentage on a wheel since it's pretty borked.

Veto should be like vetoing the reward on the board. Just say shady was to land on ‘re-encounter’ reward, he can veto that and try another spin for a different reward like a ‘master ball’ or ‘dex nav’. I think that makes more sense than veto being a recounter reward.

Should re-encounters be used for a failed capture on a route to And veto to encounter a different Pokemon if you don't like the first encounter.

Veto could instead be 'I can re-encounter any time I encounter X mon this run'. Makes it different from re-encounter and makes you make some choices about thining down pools.

I feel like Shady shouldn't be able to even look at the DexNav until unlocking it or something. Every encounter should be completely random during day. And can unlock chances to swap/look at dexnav with spins

As neat as this is, I feel like the gameplay takes a hit just do to having to interface with so many other screens. Game itself, calcs, rogue document, spin wheels, etc. Loved the hardcore hardcore rad red, just think it needed a few tweaks to push it toward your favor a little more. Examples: dex nav per gym and/or miniboss, starting with one dex nav, favorite system, etc.

I feel like reencounter means if you fail it you can retry that same one. It’s the only logical way to differentiate it from veto (reroll) or extra encounter. But regardless I love this idea!

Hey shady just thought of this idea, you should make the rule where you can only spend your wheel spins after you beat the gym leader, if you lose before you spend them you can choose or roll one to bring into the next game
