madre mia que viciadas me di en este juego recuerdo que hubo una arcade en el que subias una moto si tengo que elegir de las 2 experiencias a nivel de realismo me quedo con la versión de arcade pero a nivel de jugabilidad y portabilidad la ps1 sin duda esto es un ejemplo de que juegos arcades buenos fueron porteados para la ps1 pero en esta epoca no era tanta como fueron la dreamcast que si mal no recuerdo a nivel de conversión de arcade a consolas era mucho mas comun PD: Producto español señores

I don't know which version is better the Playstation or arcade version, the arcade version has much better graphics but is much slower, the Playstation version doesn't look as nice but it is so much faster.

+Michele Chitarra In Radikal Mode, I recall that you had to collect the ingredient and beat your opponent, before you could progress to the next level (it's been a long time since I last played).

The arcade version was cool, but the long version on PS1, which I discovered years later through emulation, was no fun. Except of course for the first levels that are those of the arcade version. You can see it here : bland levels, ugly textures, abundant clipping... Clearly they didn't put as much effort in the tracks that were exclusive to the PS1. Then there's the insane difficulty. Not only did you have to play each track to perfection to have a remote chance of finishing first, but in story mode you had to catch all 4 ingredients on your way to the destination, as they were hidden on every track. All that while maintaining a perfect performance in terms of speed. I did all I could, it was near impossible, knowing that the AI you're up against never does ANY mistake. What's worse than that, sometimes you can even take a speed bonus near the AI (that didn't catch the speed bonus) and not manage to overtake them. This game is much harder than a Gran Turismo, and that is saying something...

Heyyy! The new intro is somehow much better and horrifically *worse* than the original arcade intro! And I still hate how they spelled "Radikal" with a K.

What a shame... After the first three sets of races, (Margherita, Capricciosa and Diabola, those of the original arcade version), the rest of the levels are really crappy : ugly textures, uninspired tracks. The only surprise comes with the last level, when you get to ride through a cinema.
