I'm a huge Radio Caroline fan, originally listened in the UK in the '60s and '70s, went to the roadshows during the '70s and even visited the Mi Amigo once, I think that was 1976 and golly, they were a long way out at sea. I live in South Africa now so it's internet only but I play my streamer via a valve amp into big floor standing loudspeakers and it sounds fantastic, big sound and good audio quality. I always enjoy the "North" weekends, Manx Radio is on the internet too so on the 13th we'll be switching over to them for the weekend, plus we have some guests over this weekend so there will be a Caroline party, they know what to expect when they come here. So, while you're tuned in to the Manx transmitter on your radio, think of us all the way down here in Capetown listening too !!

thank you kindly for the message, it really cheered my week up, its amazing that captown is tuned in, make sure you send them a e mail at the weekend, they will love that, im only in my 40s so its the 80s caroline i know as i tuned into it with my dad

I can get it in Cork Ireland very clear on am manx radio am and talksport am are the two am stations i can get on am at night in south of Ireland

No need to extend the whip antenna.... AM reception is on the internal ferrite rod.
