Great Video Up to what range do you think one can install a radio to radio link? How much line of sight do you think one would need percentage wise or should it be a default 100%? If one wanted to use smart camera's with analytics or intrusion line detection connected to a security control room and application were the video is meant to trigger an alarm and pop up, will this setup still work? Can this work with Smart camera's that go to sleep mode and only trigger alarms and on camera recording and play back on detection?

This is NOT for smart cameras. The idea is to use for professional IP cameras. You can do pretty much everything with such cameras as long as they have video analytics. You can have hundreds of cameras sending videos to a central station if you want to,. I’ve worked on projects with more than 13,000 cameras and some of them have analytics for motion detections, face and license plate recognition. Regarding the line of sight there are different types of application according to the radio, frequency 2,4 GHz or 5.8GHz) and other factors such as fresnel zone, RF modulation type, transmitting power, etc. The range also varies depending on the needs. I’ve done backbones with 45Km for a special project..
