Thanks for airing this #CBSNewYork "Mr. Tom Joyner" was the DJ that I started my mornings with in my early teen yrs. Now, I'm middle aged and still tuning in and listening for his humor along with his radio family. In addition, the informative "Little Known Black History" segment. All the best "Mr. Thomas E. Joyner" (My radio Uncle) and this south-side "Chicagoen" thanks YOU!👏🏾🎉🏆✨🌠💜

Saying goodbye to a legend. That's what Tom Joyner is. Congrats to him for the end of a remarkable career. Best wishes to him for future. I'm sure he's not going to stop working tirelessly to send students to the HBCUs of their choice who otherwise would not be able to go if it wasn't for guys like him. He will absolutely be missed. #tjms25

The TJMS was the best morning show. No other could compete and they definitely still can't. They don't have the love, the joy and the heart to do it. Tom Joyner was the 'hardest working man' on radio with the best cast/staff. Haven't listened since Tom left No vibes. It's definitely not the same. So I listen to and watch replays of my TJMS now. 2020. Thank you Fly Jock! You are forever missed.💯

Well, I laughed and laughed at "on the phone with tyrone", but he now says that he had done everything for black people only. Okay, well. I never thought we were all that different.
