I love this book, and I will be adapting more of it in the time to come, but I may have to slow down for the foreseeable future, as my editing program crashed out and I had to switch to another version to finish this episode. At least for now though, work will continue. JLA is a great book because it focuses on just the hero identities of the core characters, it never wastes much time r slows down to involve their human personas (except when they're divided into separate beings, that is, see Dual Identities.) It's all superhero action icing and no human cake. I know that in the 60's Marvel did a radical thing by focusing on the human sides of their characters, but I've always been someone who is here for the powers and costumes, and I resent too much of a focus drawn away from that. JLA never has to worry about it though, as it's all big threats and epic solutions. There's much more to come in terms of large enemies, just wait til Starro shows up and he's the size of an ocean. Expect Rock of Ages to come in a few months or so, as well as possibly Morrison's Flash and definitely Martian Manhunter's solo book. If you enjoy Superman, Batman, or Green Lantern, of course there are plenty of episodes I've made of them, and I intend for JLA to be a backbone to my 90's DC lineup. Sorry I never read much Wonder Woman, though, but I'm very open to suggestions for great stories from her comic to adapt.

Bummer to hear about your editing program. Can’t wait for more JLA and what you have in store for the near future in general!

@@CodieneBeanBryant Check the Community tab, I just posted an update on the next episode. The version I've got works much like the old one, but there's limit on how many version I could theoretically switch to. I use Filmora 9, and I've gone from version 9.2 to 9.4 or something like that, and only so many version that old have been preserved. I tried upgrading but my laptop can't handle much more, and my license didn't transfer to the new version anyway. I buy my computers at the end of their life cycle, refurbished by people on craigslist, so I have to replace them every few years anyway. This is temporary, is what I mean though. I haven't let anything stop me yet, and I don't plan to in the future. My heroes taught me, a long time ago, never to give up.

Thanks! I thought it came out very well. Do you ever feel silly for being moved by art that you've made? Because I don't mind saying that Tomorrow Woman story still gets me where it counts, and seeing it like this hit even harder. I was just a little worried that my Flash and Green Lantern voices might be a little too similar, but they're the closest to each other in age and such. I tried to pitch Wally up a bit and Kyle down, taking a note from the Flash as heard in the Justice League cartoon.

It's definitely an often read story for me, as I would tend to read the relevant JLA issues when I'd read any of the heroes' books in a run, in an attempt to capture as much of their simulated lives as possible. It's almost a shame this is the only story Grant got to use Superman in with his classic power set, as after this he got his electric powers. It's odd given how foundational most people think of that old red and blue Superman being to the Justice League, for me it started with Super Friends, but the idea of Superman being the leader was there. However I'm also certain that was part of the fun and appeal for Grant, getting to help define and explore these new powers. I think I'm going to get a real foothold on my own Electric Blue Superman adaptation soon, and make it an extended series of episodes rather than try to KnightFall it and cram a year or more of four comics into an hour or two. The most fun part is the beginning, but there were more phases, and by the end it was near ridiculous as there were two energy Supermen, red and blue, and Lois declared that until he was one man again she wasn't sleeping with either of them. They just deal with too many shapechangers, mind tricks, and impostors.
