I’m going to say one thing. WHEN THIS CAME OUT people started hating on Hamlin when he won the 500 and celebrated. The same thing happened in 2001 when Dale crashed and died. Micheal did his donuts and went to victory lane and partied. Obviously Newman’s looked scarier originally but thinking back on what we’ve seen with those old cars in 2001 people were likely just as scared. I just wanna say that. Tired of seeing people hating on Denny for this.

The editing for Radioactive is ALWAYS topnotch...but this was over-the-top PHENOMENAL!! I saw some camera angles that I hadn't seen before and hearing the reactions from other drivers, spotters and crew chiefs after the accident was really heart wrenching. Thank NASCARs engineers for implementing all these safety features too. Had this same crash been 10-20 years ago, Newman will likely have suffered a critical injury or even died. Thankfully NASCAR hasn't had a fatal crash since 2001 with Dale Sr. (Rip)
