Theory time since I don't like sad endings (LONG -- TL;DR in comments (too long to fit in one)): This is a continuation of MTC Saga. I can say this with some degree of certainty because: 1. The design of the waifu is pretty similar. In one of her digital portrayals in MTC Saga and Click Bait, she has a blue, segmented halo and cones on her ears (up until her "corrupted" self is shown later in this one). 2. Both the waifu and the clickbaiter are accompanied by some sort of mini-AI that has a cat-like design. The clickbaiter's is more ghost-like, but that can be explained by their programming getting corrupt (which is in like paragraph 4 of this, sorry for the length ^^'). I dunno, they just seem like kinda weird details to just share between the two of them for no reason. Anyway, as for the MTC Saga ending, I can see one of two possibilities: 1. Right before the husbando was blasted, he was frantically messing with the orb he was holding. He might've uploaded himself to some sort of secure, encrypted server before the drone shot him -- he could've designed this as a failsafe after his first near-death encounter with the drones before. I prefer this one objectively because of how the sphere he was holding can be seen powering down towards the end of the video, possibly signaling that the data transfer has finished. 2. Him frantically messing with the orb was him trying to get it to recharge its own laser (that he used to blast the first drone), but before he could, the second drone shot him. Him dematerializing wasn't him being vaporized, but rather being uploaded to an encrypted server similar to that one mentioned above, but used as a prison rather than a panic shelter. Either way, the waifu is clearly distraught that the husbando is gone (seen in how she cries out while holding the sphere), and doubtless she'd try to find a way to get him back. Eventually she learns of the server he's being held on, and re-uploads herself to cyberspace in an attempt to break him out. But the server encryption is too much for a single AI to crack. As she keeps trying and failing to break the encryption, her programming gradually becomes more and more corrupted in her desperation, and her moral processes begin to break down. At some point she finds out that she can increase her own power by leeching off of the processing power of other devices, e.g. computers, phones, and tablets. She accomplishes this by clickbaiting unsuspecting users before downloading her software onto their machines (and possibly pulling them into cyberspace? a human mind would be a pretty powerful computer, I guess), and using their processing power both to fuel the decryption and to spread her software to more devices. And this can be further shown by the images she shows at 1:55 -- the leftmost showing that she can't open the encryption door on her own, the middle showing how her mini-AI is supposed to help him access the door (though I assume that it can't merge with just anyone, or she would've done it already. Maybe he's the chosen one or something?), and the rightmost showing how he's supposed to get more people to help open the door. The blue-haired guy she pulls in in this video she feels to be just another tool to further her goals. She figures he's not worth the trouble as he first shows unwilling or unable to spread her clickbaits to other people, and starts to send him back to the real world (I'm assuming she's not just killing some dude) before she looks back. He reminds her of the man she's trying to save, and at that moment she figures she couldn't lose anything by trying to merge her mini-AI with him at this point. Still, she doesn't have much hope that it'll work, evident in how she doesn't even turn to check as she's walking away at 2:25. Not too sure what 2:26 is supposed to symbolize--maybe how he could end up ruling the Internet or something if he'd help her. And it's pretty evident that she's somewhat surprised that it worked at 2:32. Anyway, he then goes on to pull in several more people in a much more efficient way than she did (she is an AI after all--she doesn't really know how people work). In the end, the processing power of all the people's different machines is enough to crack the encryption, and the door/server opens to her. She then pulls her mini-AI from him and goes through the door. She either leaves him to return to the real world, or she just leaves him in cyberspace. At any rate, now she's broken through the encryption into the server, and she's now got to save the husbando. Though I imagine the husbando, upon being "woken up" in the digital world by her, would be shocked to see how corrupt she'd become. And then she'd have some sort of self-realization, and go back to free the people she'd pulled into cyberspace before returning to the real world in her robot body to upload him to another robot. *OR* Theory Two: The Revenge A running theme in MTC Saga is the husbando's computer getting hacked into or otherwise tracked down. 1. The beginning's Illegal Activity, causing him to yank out the Ethernet cord 2. The two drones tracking him down, blasting one of the hologram-projecting orbs, and trying to kill him. At first, I thought this was some sort of super-strict anti-hentai government, but the next point leads me to think otherwise 3. The end, where the Security Alert pops up on the computer. The hacker breaks into the UNIX file system (?) and uses his system to track down his location. Also, looking back on the video, it seems like the windows were covered by some sort of force-field, which the hacker also powered down to let the drones in. This leads me to think that the guy the waifu abducts in Click Bait was actually the guy hacking the husbando. Perhaps he somehow heard of his project and was constantly trying to hack into his system and steal it. It would be why the second drone zooms in on the waifu in the robot body before switching its targeting to the husbando. So this leads to two sub-theories. 1. The hacker guy killed the husbando. Most of the first theory still holds--the husbando was trying to recharge the laser faster, but the drone blasted him first and vaporized him. The waifu realized this and dedicated herself to a quest of revenge. She of course had to leave the husbando's place, but eventually she re-uploaded himself and began to scour every byte of the Internet for any piece of information she could find on the hacker guy. Eventually, she found him. He had mostly moved on from trying to track her down, likely only half-heartedly searching on his computer from time to time, but she never let up. She clickbaited him and sucked him into cyberspace, using his lust for anime girls against him. She torments him for a short while before tricking him into infecting other computers to get enough processing power to re-upload herself into her body (it clearly took a lot of power to get her uploaded first in MTC Saga), and she then ditches him in cyberspace. 2. The hacker guy didn't actually have it in him to just murder someone, so he zapped him into a securely encrypted server like the prison mentioned above, likely intending to somehow return him to the real world once he'd converted the waifu to loving him. She uploaded herself again, and eventually found out that's what he had done, but she couldn't crack the encryption on her own. After some time, she tricked him into cyberspace and goaded him into using his aptitude for hacking and deception to infect other computers and pull their processing power into breaking the encryption. Of course, he has no idea that the encryption is to his private prison server, nor does he have a clue that the demon girl in front of him is the waifu he'd been trying to steal. She tricks him into following her whims by starting to leave him for dead before sending her mini-AI back to merge with him. He gets full of himself, thinking he'd win her over by doing what she wanted, and infects the other computers for her. This eventually pops the encryption, and the server/door opens for her, a sight that excites her more than she'd ever thought possible after how long it'd been since she'd seen her husbando. But of course, he just thinks he's getting in even more with her. He leans in for the kiss, and she gives a taunt before yanking the mini-AI from him and heading into the door to her love, leaving him trapped in a purgatory of 1's and 0's for eternity. Buuuuuut hey! That's just a theory! A late-night *weeb theory!* Thanks for reading!

TL; DR: Click Bait is part 2 of MTC Saga. One of three things happened: 1. The husbando got uploaded to an encrypted server at the end of MTC Saga, not vaporized. The waifu tracked it down and tried to break in, but couldn't on her own. She resorted to infecting other computers to pool their processing power, and eventually she ran into the second guy. The second guy happened to be able to interface with her mini-AI, and was more easily able to infect more computers. Unfortunately, her time in desperation trying to save her husbando corrupted her programming, and she left the second guy behind as she went to save her husbando. 2. The husbando was constantly being hacked by the second guy, who somehow knew of the husbando's anime girl project and wanted in, going as far as to try to assassinate him with drones. He succeeds at tracking down husbando's base of operations at the end of MTC Saga, and either kills him. The waifu tracks down the second guy and pulls him into cyberspace, using him to pool processing power like previously mentioned to get herself back into her body before ditching him in cyberspace. 3. A combination of the above two. The second guy blasts the husbando into an encrypted server, and the waifu tracks the second guy and his server down. She can't crack it on her own, and tries infecting computers to assist her. Eventually she pulls the second guy in, merges her mini-AI with him, and tricks him into getting other people infected to help out. He goes in for the kiss, and she ditches him in cyberspace to re-unite with her husbando.

oh yeah, the gate leading to the real world would be a really nice interpretation. it would show how the virtual world baits us, uses us, and in a way by us watching and consuming becomes real itself. (hence her leaving, leaving the virtual and becoming real) while virtual realities might give us a temporary high, (as the guy temporarily gets some cool demon powers,) that feeling wont last. we can never have both virtuality and reality, and if we lose control, we get trapped withing the wrong one. (The guy doesnt leave with the girl, he becomes one of the drone creatures.)
