Radiohead - Creep (Postmodern Jukebox Piano Cover)

This cover of Radiohead's Creep is heavily inspired by Postermodern Jukebox' version, which is easily my favourite iteration of the song. I did transpose it back into its original key of G major, while PMJ's version was in F major. I first started working on this arrangement well over a year ago and then procrastinated forever on finishing the second half. In the end it's not nearly as grandiose as the PMJ version or even just as a piano solo, but I think it captured the essence and energy of the original quite well while offering a unique spin. What ultimately gave me the push to finish it was Creep being featured in the opening to the new Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Not a great reason but it reminded me to get back into the song and polish this up. Hope y'all enjoy.

In the sheet music, in bars 101 and 102, you mark F sharp with accidentals, although the key signature is already G major. Is that indicating something?

Great job Atin! That C Major chord trill thing is so satisfying haha, and i love the arpeggios at 2:27! And all of the accidentals are so smooth. You did a great job capturing the feel for the original, whilst putting your own twist :)

I think creep is one of the few songs that has trouble translating the same ‘feeling’ of the original on to a piano….this (and other covers I have heard on the piano) sound a bit too ‘happy’ for my taste. The song is quite sad really, and definitely one of the 90’s classics. But excellent performance as always.
